How companies infiltrate our TV shows
Sweeps is not just a gimmick for the networks to go all out for ratings. It's a way for companies to do their best for product placement. Case in point, Ford let an internal memo "slip" to the public about their upcoming placements. Maybe this is just part of the PR blitz. Those sneaky devils.

Well not really. This is a pic of the beloved stars in the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. The clever folks at the museum put the two new lovebirds on display together as they reshuffle the museum.

But thanks to D-List (for the pics), we know Angelina was really meeting Pakistan’s prime minister since she is a UN goodwill ambassador. Hmm, wonder is Jen is laying out again today?

It was finally time to say goodbye to Gretchen and Meredith. They should win an award for making it to the final four. I was seriously amazed they did so well all season. As Phil said last night, they are truly an inspiration to all of us.

Once again Rob and Amber pull ahead into #1. I think it will be a race between them and Uchenna &Joyce for the million dollar prize. Next week is the finale - Go Uchenna and Joyce!

Chappelle Suspended
Oh no! Media week reported that Comedy Central has suspended production on the third season of Chappelle's Show until further notice, and it will not premiere on May 31st as originally scheduled. What is going on? I'm working on it.

Just tell me when you all get bored of this. Here is Britney, growing like a weed and wearing the same outfit as last week, out and about in LA. She is back from vacation #746. Love that Lollypop habit taking the place of the cigs. What a good girl.

Ferrell back on SNL
The funnyman will be on the season finale of SNL on May 14th. It's his first time back since he left in 2002. It's been too long Will.

Along with tonight’s American Idol vote off (which I have given up guessing on), Primetime will have a very hyped revealing look inside America’s favorite show. People reports that the show will be focused on Paula's alleged relationship with ex-contestant Corey Clark.

Variety reports that this is a sweeps stunt and that they may not have any real news to expose.

Either way, I'm checking it out. If anything this seems more intersting than the actual show itself. I was a little bored last night with the performances and I want Anthony and Scott to go, but I think the Scott vote for the worst conspiracy is working. Besides, I'm more exited for Lost to be on tonight. Oh gosh there is just so much to watch.

This is one of my favorite awards shows because it's got the A-list crowd and it's not so serious. Sometimes the self-promotion and annoying plugs are a bit much, but the skits are usually hilarious. Jimmy Fallon was announced by MTV as this years host of the June 9th program. You can vote now!
