• NBC airs Concert for Hurricane Relief

Celebs are getting into the giving spirit like Diddy and Jay-Z giving a joint donation of $1M. Nicolas Cage is also giving $1M and Celine Dion and the partners of her Las Vegas show pledged a $1 million to the Red Cross. I'm sure we will continue to hear donation announcements over the next few days as we continue to see the damages of Katrina.

NBC will have a special on Friday night called A Concert For Hurricane Relief. NBC describes the program as:

a live, hour-long benefit special featuring artists with ties to the affected areas, including Tim McGraw, Harry Connick, Jr. and Wynton Marsalis. To help those in need immediately, the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund is accepting donations through its website and hotline. Visit http://www.redcross.org/ or call 1-800-HELP NOW for more information.

Another TV special will air next week on MTV, VH1 and CMT.

MTV, VH1 and CMT announced a multi-artist, multi-city concert special set to air across all three networks on Sept. 10 and benefiting the American Red Cross and other relief efforts. There will be performances in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Nashville featuring the likes of Ludacris, Green Day, Gretchen Wilson, Usher, Alicia Keys, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews Band, Rob Thomas, David Banner and Linkin Park's Chester Bennington. The networks will also air PSAs and news reports on the disaster.

It was no big deal. She was having a glass of wine while he was shooting pool at Paddy Maguire's Ale House on Third Avenue. You know, no big deal.

Janice Sucks
That stupid loudmouth "supermodel" had a one woman act. The biggest star she could draw to the show was Kimberly Stewart who left after 10 minutes. Maybe now she'll learn we don't want her entertaining us anymore.

More Garner Bashing
Those Alias fans are crazy for their Vaughn. They are starting to spread trash rumors about Jennifer and Ben and how horrible they are on the set. Any real fan of the show knows that when someone dies on Alias they can always turn up later with some ridiculous story.

Punk and Pop Dating
It's no surprise to us here that Hilary and Joel are a great mis-match made in heaven. The NY Times even agrees this coupling is producing great music together, as well as a great image.

I know she is starting to get some serious backlash lately but she is still one of my favorite Desperate Housewives. Even though we just saw her with Mario Lopez, she continues to announce that Tony is her main man, She said, "I'll shout it from a mountain top... He's the one. We've even talked about kids. He'd be a great dad.... We've been dating nine months and I'm very happy."
