The show wasn't as exciting as I had hoped but I have to admit, when you take a 2 hour break in the middle to watch Jack Bauer do his thing with the terrorists, it makes going back to watching the Globes a major bore.

The pre-show on E! was much better than years past with Kathy and Star. Isaac was a little off and the underwear question got old, but it was fun to watch him grab Scarlett's boobs. She handled it pretty well.

As for the red carpet, there were no major disasters but some of the usual red carpet standouts were a little disappointing this year. These are my OK dressed list of celebs. I usually love Gwyneth but I'm not into this earthy look on her. I still give her props since she is pregnant and probably not into dressing up. Natalie Portman looked cute but sort of boring. I think she was wearing classic Chanel, but I hated the top of the dress. I was not into Charlize's Dior get-up at all. A major disappointment for me was Heidi Klum. She is one of my favorites but her dress - not so much. Wtf is that neckline? I love that Heath and Michelle can't keep their hands of each other, but I did not love her purple frilly dress. She has looked so amazing at all the recent premieres so I guess I was expecting more.

My favorites included Reese and her wonderful hot hubby. Both looked perfect in every way and watching them during the show just made me love this couple even more. Mandy Moore looked really cute but could have done more with the hair - luckily she has such a winning smile so it works. Also loved the red this year. Eva and Scarlett looked fabulous in their red dresses. I am also a fan of Scarlett's hair down - I feel like she never wears it like that for big events. Surprisingly Teri Hatcher looked great. I usually bash her but I must say I thought her dress was one of the most unusual and the cut was unreal. I loved Evangeline Lilly green dress - it matched her eyes!

I was really excited to see Reese, Joaquin, and George win. I had hoped Brokeback Mountain would have taken home more awards, but 4 ain't to shabby including Best Film and Best Director. I was also super psyched to see the fabulous Mary-Louis Parker beat all those Desperate Housewives. Weeds is such a funny show - people should order Showtime just to see what they are missing. I can't wait for it to return. Lost got a nice win for the gang but I have been down on the show recently so hopefully it will get back to where it was last year. Lastly, Kiefer and Heath were robbed.

Jake was at the Urth Cafe this week but I did not see him at the Golden Globes. Why is that? Why didn't he support his team? Is he upset he was overlooked as a nominee? I thought he would have been the team player type of guy but I am starting to doubt our cute Jakey.

Now that Tom and Katie are done traveling, they are back to their routine of weekend soccer games. Katie's baby bump has been a bit of a mystery since some days she seems so much more pregnant than other days but I think I have figured out it - is all about the angle with her. The clothes make a difference too - when she is just in the white shirt she barely looks pregnant but with her bulky sweater she looks 7 months along. I think she actually looks here today.

We just want to wish a very happy birthday to Kate Moss. She is 32 today and once again her ex-fiance, Pete Doherty has been arrested again for drugs. I think this is a fabulous birthday present for the now clean supermodel mom. We can barely keep track of Pete and his arrests anymore anyway. I wonder if she will be celebrating with her new BFF LL.

My head is about to explode as I try to plan out my evening. The Golden Globes got scared off by Desperate Housewives and moved to Monday. LAME. Lucky for us CBS is repeats and The Bachelor is totally something we can watch tomorrow. But what do we watch first, The Globes or 24 - that is the question? I can't bare watch anything in real time anyway thanks to the wonderful world of TiVo.

The worst part is living on the West Coast for this show. We get it delayed so all the news reports and sites will be blogging the answers while I try to avoid them since I actually like the element of surprise. I am pulling for the Brokeback Mountain gang to sweep the awards. I would also love to see Reese win for Walk the Line and we really hope hottie hubby is by her side tonight!

For the TV winners, I am pulling for Grey's Anatomy, Weeds and of course, 24 to win. And that brings us back to 24. Another 2 hours tonight. They really are blowing us away. Last night was so fabulous. Gawker proposes a few questions from last nights episode - my favorite two are:
• Isn’t four hours over two nights a somewhat onerous demand for a TV show to make of our time?
• That said, ohmigod, can you wait for tonight’s installment?
