Sister celebrities are making the magazine rounds. First Jessica and Ashlee did a spread in OK and now Lindsay and little sister Ali are opening up in the November issue of CosmoGIRL, as well as gracing the cover. And you can bet LL has lots of advice to give her little sis. “I’m very protective of her,” Lindsay says about her 12-year-old sister.” “I feel like I’m a mother to her in a way. She’s like my child.” Here's more highlights:

On showing Ali the ropes, Lindsay says:

“I think it’s important to let kids live and learn,” Lohan says.
“The more you shelter them from things, which my parents never did, the
more they go out and rebel. I never felt like I had to hide anything.”

And as far as men are concerned, LL says:

“Never take anything too seriously and just kind of go with it day by
day,” adds Lindsay. “And always have a few guys on the side as a
backup.”

Her main advice to Ali is “Life is short. Live fast!” I don't know if that's the best advice to give a twelve year-old, but to each her own. Let's hope though that Ali will wait awhile before keeping a few guys on the side as a backup! For more pics of the piece just read more

As K-Fed is everywhere promoting his debut album, Playing with Fire, Life & Style is reporting once again that he and Britney are having issues. Apparently they still aren't getting along, and Britney is back to checking into hotels. L&S reports:

Things went further than usual on the night of Oct. 23, when Brit became so annoyed with her husband, she left their Malibu home and checked in to the Hotel Bel-Air. “She looked like she’d had a rough night and needed to get some sleep,” says an eyewitness. “She wasn’t in a good mood.”

Britney, 24, made her point: She was angry that Kevin, 28, was paying more attention to his career (his album, Playing With Fire, went on sale on Oct. 31) than to their kids, Sean, 1, and Jayden, 7 weeks. “It was Kevin at his worst,” says a Spears family friend. “He made Brit and the kids seem like bit players on his stage.”

And Britney has had enough. “She told Kevin that he’s on warning,” says a Spears family insider. “He was acting like a pig, so she left for a while.”

Britney was supposed to make an appearance with K-Fed at his album release party last night so hopefully we'll get some fabulous Brit pics soon. Will this answer our question as to if these two are fighting....Stay tuned...

Dolly Parton seems to think that she has a lot in common with another blonde from the south. Turns out she's a huge fan of Jessica's, and sees a lot of herself in Jess. And she's thrilled that Jess is planning to perform with her at Dollywood. Here's more:

"Jessica is going to come up to Dollywood, and we're going to do something real soon." Parton insists that too many people overlook her young pal's talent - just like they did her's when she was starting out. She adds, "All they see is this great-looking blonde girl, but she's got a great voice - and the heartache and pain to throw into songs."

Manhattan was all about celebrating the glamour last night. The Glamour Magazine Event was at Carnegie, and The Accessories Council Excellence Awards (ACE) was being held at Cipriani. So ACE may not be making strides in women's rights like Glamour, but where would we be without our accessories? Jennifer Lopez was one of the honorees, taking home an ACE Award for her personal influence on style. And looks like she had plenty of help carrying that award home. Both Marc Anthony and mother Lupe escorted her to the event. Tom Ford, Michael Kors, and Rachel Zoe were also honored for their contributions to the accessory industry.

Anna Nicole's attorney says she has come down with "a slight case of pneumonia." She is being treated at the same hospital where her son Daniel died in September. It seemed like Anna Nicole had been feeling better. She had even given her first interview since Daniel died to ET's Mark Steines. He reveals on his blog, however, that she is a "veritable rollercoaster of emotions." In the interview he says:

She giggles like a schoolgirl when she talks about the first time she realized she was in love with Howard. She beams like a mother when she holds little Dannielynn and says, "Can you say mommy?"

But it is when she utters the name of her son, DANIEL, that Anna Nicole is no longer able to compose herself. She crumbles like a house of cards, tears pouring out of her eyes, her body shaking from the sobbing. This is not just a controversial, misunderstood woman, this is a mother who has lost a child.

I have done quite a few interviews over the years for ET and I have never seen the level of heartbreak I witnessed in the Bahamas

The interview airs on Thursday on ET. The whole thing is just so sad. No wonder she's gotten sick. Maybe she should just stay out of the press for a little while.

Julia Roberts is busy filming a new movie in Morocco. The Oscar winning actress will star in the political drama called Charlie Wilson's War. Based on Texas congressman Charlie Wilson's covert dealings in Afghanistan, where his efforts to assist rebels in their war with the Soviets have some unforeseen and long-reaching effects. Looks like Julia's finding some play time in between shooting scenes - her twins and husband spent the day with Julia on the beach in Essaouira, Morocco.
