A glowing Gwyneth made it out to the Prince's Trust Gala at The Roundhouse in London last night. She has really been into helping out these days. The actress lent her voice (and face) to help out in Africa and last night she showed up to help young people in need get on their feet. At the same time, she manages to take care of her two kids and look great. Her hair is insane and the thing is - you know she isn't doing the extension thing like everyone else is Hollywood.

Christina Aguilera continues to promote her Back to Basics Tour at a London Press Conference at the Mayfair Hotel. And when she gets back to the states she'll add acting to her resume as well. She's in talks to be on an episode of CSI: New York about battered women. Her music will be showcased on the show as well. Let's hope her episode is better than K-Fed's!

Last night tons of stars came out for a screening and dinner for the film Bobby at Le Cirque in NYC. Lindsay Lohan, however, skipped it for the Casino Royale World premiere in London! I wonder how Emilio felt about that! It's hard to blame her though, I mean the royal family was there. That's hard to compete with. The Bobby party seemed to have no trouble getting along without her though. Emilio, Sharon Stone, Christian Slater, and Joshua Jackson were all there. The film opens in NY and LA on Friday and statewide November 22nd.

Yesterday my dad was telling me about his lovely experience meeting Renée Zellweger on the shuttle to DC where she was headed to do charity work. He said she was so sweet to everyone who spoke to her and looked even more beautiful in person. Today we see Renée doing good at the Children's Defense Fund in DC. She recently spoke out about her split from Kenny Chesney, calling the marriage the biggest mistake of her personal life. It's great to see Renée looking so happy - she's clearly moved on from that mistake.

Not only was Taye Diggs just named one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive, but he’s starring in a new ABC drama, called Day Break, which premieres tonight at 8/9 c.

Judging from the pilot, Day Break could finally be Diggs’ big break, as it’s equally adept at showing off his acting chops and his sexy bod. Plus, the series has a very cool concept backing it up: Diggs is reliving a single day of his life on repeat, a la Groundhog Day. And it’s not a particularly good day, since he’s been falsely accused of murdering the Assistant D.A.

Day Break kicks off with seven of the most action-packed minutes in TV: Diggs takes a sexy shower with his lady friend, saves a woman’s life during a bus crash, finds his apartment ransacked, and gets arrested. But that’s only the beginning, because throughout the episode, the story starts over two more times, each time playing out the scenario differently depending on how Diggs attempts to change his destiny. As a viewer, you get new glimpses of what’s going on each time, so you slowly start to piece the story together, and I’m assuming the show will continue to reveal new clues with each new episode. But while that device worked well in a movie like Run Lola Run, I worry that Day Break might begin to feel repetitive when stretched over an entire season. In fact, the pilot even started to feel a little bit repetitive. Then again, after watching the pilot, I can’t wait to see what happens next, so maybe the show is on to something.

Jimmy Kimmel hosted the launch of The Samsung BlackJack at Boulevard3 last night, and the Hollywood C-list crowd came to check out the new device. Not so sure what's going on with Eric Dane, aka McSteamy. We prefer him looking like this. Brandon Davis is once again following right behind Nicky. MTV alum and cutie Simon Rex could have used some help getting dressed too, but the former OC star Samaire Armstrong sure looks adorable.
