The Simpson sisters used to revel in the fact that they had two separate styles. Ashlee went dark and punk while Jess was the all American, t-shirt and jeans southern girl. However, recently the sisters have started to look a lot more alike, and well, less like themselves. The two showed up at Koi this weekend in their matching black skinny jeans and heels. Jess has been into the black look for a while. I wonder if she minds that Ashlee is stealing her exact look?

We were really hoping that we would be seeing two releases from the Federlines last week - K-Fed's new album and pics of Jayden James. Apparently Kevin doesn't feel the need to pimp his kids to help his career. In fact, he says he and Brit just want to keep things a little private for themselves to enjoy before having to share their family with the world. Here's more:
"Everybody's been asking me the name and wanting me to verify and all that stuff, and it becomes a little bit tiring. I don't understand. Why can't you wait until we're ready to talk about it? Why does it have to be right after the baby's born? Why can't it be two, three, four months later? You know what I mean? Why right now?"
Federline said he and Spears plan to release a photo of their second child, his fourth, eventually, "When it was time." But for right now, they want private time with Jayden James.
"You feel that you owe them a piece, you know? The world, people, whoever. You owe them a piece of something, and you want something for yourself," Federline explained. "If everyone knows everything about you and what you're doing all the time, you don't have any piece of private to yourself, and that was one thing we wanted to keep for us, for right now. It's our child."
That's understandable, but selfishly we admit we want to see JJ already. More pics of K-Fed continuing his search for privacy while promoting his album in NY just read more
Lindsay has signed up to play a Southern debutante in Tennessee William's The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. LL will play Fisher Willow in the film based in the 1920s. Will this role get LL the Oscar she wants before she's 30? Stay tuned... hopefully she'll behave better on this set than she did on Georgia Rule. For a bit more on the film, here's more:
Lohan will play Fisher Willow, a 1920s Southern debutante with a fondness for stirring up trouble.
The daughter of a Memphis plantation owner, Fisher has no patience for narrow-minded people and no problem with shocking and insulting those around her.
After she returns from studying abroad, Fisher falls in love with Jimmy (Chris Evans), the son of an alcoholic father (David Strathairn) and an insane mother, who works at a store on Fisher's family plantation.
Fisher tries to pass her less-privileged lover off as an upper-class suitor in an effort to deceive her disapproving aunt (Ann-Margret), who controls the family fortune.

We all know very well that Madonna's journey in adopting David was not easy to say the least. She's blamed the difficulty in adopting David on the media, and even said many people were very racist about her adoption. Now she is revealing the whole process was so difficult she almost gave up. Here's more:
Madonna says her efforts to adopt 13-month-old David Banda in Malawi were so difficult, both logistically and emotionally, that she repeatedly considered giving up. "Every day I thought, 'OK, forget it. We'll find a family here to look after him,' " she tells Time magazine in a new interview. "I just (kept) thinking, 'Oh god, I don't want to get too attached, because what if it doesn't happen?' "
The singer lashes out at the media throughout the interview. "There's a lot of Brits – reporters on the street – who've said, 'Why don't you adopt a kid from Britain?' Or, 'Why did you adopt a black child?' So a lot of people's hangups and 'isms' are sort of mixed into this, too. It's just kind of a cocktail for disaster in terms of media perception."
She continues, "It was one f–ing thing after the next, everywhere we went. So the idea that people think I got a shortcut or an easy ride is absolutely ludicrous. I have never worked so hard for anything in my life, and I've never been given such a hard time. And my celebrity has worked against me in every way." If you're a famous person who's trying to make a difference in the world, she adds, "you'd better be prepared to find yourself in the headquarters of hell."
We're glad Madonna decided to fight through and adopt little David. More pics of the two so just read more
Election day is right around the corner, and like many other celebs Leo lent his voice to fight for what he believes in. The activist is not only making a difference with his real world actions, but on film as well. Next month Leo will star in Blood Diamond, a movie focusing on the corruption behind diamond trading. Look for Blood Diamond in theaters December 8th and in the meantime, remember to vote tomorrow.

Lance joined 35,000 other runners on Sunday for the NYC marathon. He said it was much tougher than he expected. In fact, he said, "for the level of condition that I have now, that was without a doubt the hardest physical thing I have ever done." That's crazy that Lance feels that way considering what killer shape he is in. He still managed to finish the race in under 3 hours which is very impressive. Congrats to Lance and all the other runners who ran their hearts out, and hope you're all resting well today!

Remember we saw Cammie getting sexy for a photoshoot last month well here is the end result for W Magazine. I totally thought she would have switched back to blonde by now, but instead she's definitely making the most of this dark sultry look. In the issue Cameron talks about the paparazzi, her upcoming movies and her broken nose. Here's more about the nose:
When she broke her nose for the fourth time a few years ago, the doctor wanted to straighten it, but Diaz wouldn't let him. Now she wishes she'd consented, because she has trouble breathing. "So I'm over it. I'm getting it fixed. I can't take it. I cannot breathe at all. One side of my nose is totally shattered—my septum is basically like a train derailed." With a mock-ditzy laugh, she declares, "It's amazing how much a lack of oxygen can affect you, all across the board."
