Simon Cowell is ready to give Kate Moss a record deal. The host of American Idol and the UK version, The X Factor, knows a brand when he sees it and Kate is sell-able to him. While Kate and Pete celebrate Vogue's 90th last night, maybe she should be celebrating her other dream of being a singer possibly coming true. Here's more:

SIMON Cowell wants to sign Kate Moss on a huge recording contract - even if she CAN'T sing. But the pop guru has insisted he would not include her boyfriend Pete Doherty in any deal.

The X-Factor star revealed his desire to launch a pop career for the supermodel after she sang with the Babyshambles singer at a recent concert in Dublin. He said: "I would like to offer Kate Moss a recording contract, whether she can sing or not.

"The thing about Kate is that she's a star - it's the 'Kate factor'. People attach themselves to her and instantly become interesting." But he added: "There's no way I would take him [Pete] on. I doubt he'd turn up for anything."

Gwen Stefani stopped by a London radio station with an entourage, including Kingston, her trainer, and her hairdresser. I guess she needs someone to keep her bangs in that perfect position. Little Kingston of course is always the most important part of her ensemble and by far her best accessory. Looks like Gwen is wasting no time promoting her new album The Sweet Escape which hits stores on December 5th.

AFI Fest continues with the premiere party for The Dead Girl. Brittany Murphy walked the red carpet looking very put together. This is opposite of her character in the movie who was "a woman driven by violence, drug use and severe psychological issues." The cast also includes the yummy James Franco and Kerry Washington and Marcia Gay Harden.

Everyone sure has been giving Madonna a hard time lately. And now she's been punched in the face! We were just wondering how Madonna got a bruise on her cheek, and now it turns out it was caused by a pack of overeager photographers. The paps evidently went into a frenzy when they saw Madonna and new baby David at Heathrow Airport last weekend and she ended up getting socked. Here's more:

"She had the baby in her arms when it happened," says the source. "When she landed in London, there was a lot of pushing and shoving. She was jostled around. She got hit in the paparazzi's commotion."

David, the 1-year-old she is in the process of adopting from Malawi, was not hurt in the scuffle. "Thank God the baby is OK," says the source.

Kevin has finally made a move in response to Britney's shocking and sudden divorce decision. As predicted, he's asking for legal and physical custody of Sean P and Jayden asking that Britney only have visitation rights. He's also asking for spousal support. Lame move Kevin - we're betting this is just a sad attempt to suck as much money out of Britney as possible. Let's hope Britney's prenup is as solid as is being reported.

It's official - Reese has filed for divorce from Ryan. Reese filed papers today, and TMZ reports she's asking for joint legal custody of Ava and Deacon, and primary physical custody of the kids. She's also requesting to not pay Ryan any spousal support, and "exclusive use of the family residence." It's a sad day - the separation of one of our favorite Hollywood couples is for real.

What's that smell? Why it's the sweet smell of success! Yesterday we told you that Kylie had landed back home in Sydney to get ready to kick off the rest of her Showgirl tour this weekend. But that's not all she's been up to. Between rehearsals she's also managed to launch a new perfume, which is appropriately called, Darling. Here's more:

"It's such a warm word," said the diminutive star of the new scent's name. "I use it with my friends, my mother uses it with me and it's a little bit showbiz."

Looking appropriately dazzling in a knee-length Audrey Hepburn-style black dress accessorised with Bulgari diamonds, the chanteuse confessed she could hardly believe her comeback was going so well. "I'm kind of pinching myself that we are here, we did it," she enthused. "To be here... to be able to enjoy the launch of this perfume... to get my show back on the road – that's what keeps me going."

Here we go again... more reports that Nicole is pregnant. The poor girl can't catch a break, but if it's true then congrats to the newlyweds. Apparently Nicole told Keith the fabulous news while visiting him at the Betty Ford Center after 2 home pregnancy tests confirmed she was pregnant. Two home pregnancy tests confirmed the 39-year-old actress is expecting her first child, sources say — but, ironically, her four-month marriage to country crooner Keith, 39, is in serious jeopardy. "Nicole's dream of having a child finally came true when two home pregnancy tests came up positive," an insider tells The ENQUIRER.

"But she's devastated that Keith lied to her about kicking his addictions to booze and cocaine. She's hoping the baby will save their relationship."

"Keith was happy, but uneasy, about the news," confided the insider. "He knows how desperate Nicole has been to have a baby, but the timing couldn't be worse for him."
