Matt and Matt are making the rounds promoting their new film We Are Marshall. Matthew Fox taped Letterman this week for an appearance to be aired on Friday's show. In the film, which is based on a true story, McConaughey plays a football coach who helps a town reunite after its college team is tragically killed in a plane crash. Fox plays McConaughey's assistant coach Red Dawson who chose not to get on the plane and as a result was racked with guilt about the tragedy. Here's more:

To get to know his character, Fox contacted Dawson and flew him to Hawaii to the set of "Lost" where he was working.

"He met all the people I work with there and charmed the pants off them," Fox says. "He's been carrying a pretty heavy burden for a very long time. We talked after he saw the movie and not only did he express how much he loves the movie, but he also went on to talk about how he feels different, he feels lighter, more optimistic."

It will be really cool to see Matthew off the island and in a different role. Hopefully it will be enough to tide us over until Lost comes on next year! For more pics just read more

Brittany is still on her promotional world tour for Happy Feet which was number 2 at the box office this weekend in the USA, but number one in the UK. Brittany stopped off in Australia to shine her smile and talk about her co-star crushes. She admitted to having a crush on Robin Williams when she was a little girl. Here's more:

"I had a crush on Robin Williams when I was younger. I was fourteen and I was asked to nominate my Valentine crush when I was at school. "And it was between JOHNNY CARSON and Robin Williams - so I went for Williams because Carson was way too old for me. "Robin doesn't actually know. I don't know if I will tell him. I think he is so funny. And that's a huge attraction for a girl."

Nicky Hilton has clearly moved on from Kevin Connolly. Her new man is David Katzenberg, AKA, Mary-Kate's first famous ex (Yes, Paris is currently with Stavros, MK's other ex). While this may be good news for Nicky, apparently David's father Jeffrey Katzenberg isn't a fan of his son's new girlfriend. Kinda like the news we read about Stavros' family not approving of Paris. A family friend said Jeffrey Katzenberg, the former Disney exec who co-founded DreamWorks, "thinks the Hiltons are just . . . lowbrow and that his son is young and should be dating around." Meanwhile, it's only been a month, but Nicky and David are already saying, "I love you."

LL may be going to AA but that hasn't cut back on her nightlife. She made it out last night to score some swag and also attended the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas event in Universal City this weekend. The annual event takes place over two nights and included Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, AFI as well as older favorites like Beck, Foo Fighters and many more. Here's highlights:

• Beck...married his set to a marionettes show at the back of the stage. 30 Seconds to Mars raced through the aisles dressed in Santa Claus costumes. Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse also came as Santas and the rest of Gnarls Barkley dressed as elves (the singer introduced himself as "Dirty Santa and the Ho Ho Hos").
• Gnarls Barkley had...enough charisma to last all night in singer Cee-Lo, whose between-song banter and perma-smile certainly brought good tidings of joy. "This is the very reason I am rich and famous today," Cee-Lo said as he introduced the Grammy-nominated "Crazy."
• "We're the only band without a Christmas gimmick," Evanescence singer Amy Lee joked backstage as the Gnarls girls rushed to the stage behind her. "I don't care though. That's metal."

Cameron is back in the states after promoting The Holiday in London last week. The film came in at number 3 this weekend at the box office with almost $13 million in sales. It was up against Mel Gibson's Apocalypto and those super cute computer generated penguins. Cameron has been known to feud with the paparazzi but it looks like she is coming to terms with how to deal with them. She says:

There was a period of time where the paparazzi were really, really aggressive 24 hours a day and we couldn’t live our lives—literally could not go anywhere without being attacked my 20 people. Even though we’re celebrities, we’re still human. We have a right to be protected as well. The funny thing is that all of our kicking and screaming somehow has actually worked, so I don’t give a shit. Because they have backed off. They’ve pretty much vowed not to print any picture of me other than a terrible one. So now I just smile and wave at them, and you never see pictures of me anymore, because they only want to sell the photos where I look haggard. [Laughs] They really do hate me. But as long as they stay away from me, they can hate me all they want.

Penelope was on hand last night at the ACLU Bill of Rights Awards in Beverly Hills to honor those that take risks to defend our liberty. There she accepted an award on behalf of director Paul Haggis who got us thinking in his movie, Crash. Jewel performed for the guests. Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks and Bill Maher also took home awards, no doubt for their very outspoken political views. The annual event marks the anniversary of the signing of the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, which includes our rights to free speech.

Eva may be excited about her upcoming wedding to Tony Parker but she isn't getting carried away. In fact, she's letting Tony plan the wedding! Not all by himself, of course. They've hired celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss to help make a few suggestions along the way. And while the ring was five-carats, Eva says they are going to be a little more conservative with the actual event, even though they plan on getting married abroad in France next summer. The happy couple plan to invite Longoria's co-stars from her hit TV series, as well as the San Antonio Spurs star's Texas-based teammates. Longoria reportedly doesn't want the wedding to break the bank, telling Weiss, "We are building a house right now (in San Antonio), so we just can't go over budget."

Nicole was arrested yesterday after she was spotted driving the wrong way on the highway in LA and then admitted to popping Vicodin and smoking pot. We know she's a troubled girl, and now her attorney is addressing it. He said "This is a difficult time for Nicole but she is prepared to accept whatever responsibility is appropriate. She intends to continue with her career and will deal with any other issues that need to be addressed."

We hope Nicole really does get the helps she needs while going through this difficult time.
