We were excited for Lost to return on February 7th, but now we're not so sure. Last season we were not happy about the addition of Michelle Rodriguez's character and we were happy when she was killed off. Now we hear she's not gone for long. Ana-Lucia will be back this season in the show's flashbacks. Michelle was spotted in Oahu this week where the show is filmed. Hopefully it won't last long.

Many Bond fans scoffed when Daniel Craig was cast as the first blonde Bond, but the negative press didn't keep anyone away from the theaters. Casino Royale has just become the most successful James Bond film ever. It's already made $454 million at the box office! The record was previously held by Die Another Die in 2002 which starred Pierce Brosnan and made $431 million. Looks like Daniel Craig will be playing 007 for quite awhile to come!

Mariah loves getting bundled up in furry boots and puffy jackets so it's perfect that she would be spending her holiday in Aspen. She also gave a recent interview to Aspenpeak Magazine where she talked all about the things she likes to do in Aspen like wearing Santa Claus bikinis and rolling around in the snow. She also has a new scent in the works for Elizabeth Arden. Here's more:

AP: You have a lot in front of you.

MC: Another big priority is a fragrance I’m launching with Elizabeth Arden. It’s the first time I’ve ever done a fragrance. It’s been an amazing and creative process. You sit down with the “juice” companies, and then they show you the different scents. You then compose the scent. The process was very similar to writing a song. The fragrance is almost done, and next is the bottling and then the marketing campaign. The fragrance will come out in conjunction with a new album, which I’ll start working on right after Christmas.

AP: Is there a working title?

MC: There is, but I can’t tell you right now!

Celebs just love to do the perfume thing. Mariah is being so secretive about her scent's name. Can you guess what name Mariah will call her new smell?

James Brown may have passed away this week but his friends and fans are making sure that his memory lives on. Spike Lee has just signed on with Paramount Pictures to direct a film about the Godfather of Soul. The project is being developed by super producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind) and will most likely begin shooting in 2008. Brown evidently was working on the project before he died and granted Paramount access to his music rights. James has had a full and fascinating life. We can't wait to see it on the big screen. Britney sure has had a year full of surprises but it's not over yet. She and Paris may have split up but that doesn't mean these two girls are laying low. We thought Britney dumped Paris to fix up her image but that is not happening anytime soon. Paris is pissed and calling Britney an "animal." Apparently she is upset about their recent split. Now we are hearing reports of Britney throwing up from partying too much. Make it stop - perhaps it's time to put the drink down Britney. US Weekly reports:

’Tis the season to indulge – but Britney Spears went a bit overboard last week. On December 20, she tested her drinking limits (and the DJ’s patience) at Hollywood lounge Les Deux. An inebriated Spears “kept requesting her own songs,” a club source tells Us Weekly.

Resident DJ Stone Rokk finally played one, but followed it with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River.” Soon the partying caught up with the 25-year-old pop princess.

“She went to the bathroom and threw up all over,” an eyewitness tells Us. But, adds the source, “she didn’t need to be carried out.”

Diddy got his hand slapped after his Sean John line debuted in stores with real fur. He has since apologized and said he didn't realize it was real. He said "I was unaware of the nature of this material, but as soon as we were alerted, the garments were pulled off the MACY's floor and website. I have instructed our licensee to cease the production of any garment using this material immediately." Sounds like a good way to end the year Diddy. Maybe he's has softened up now that he has 2 new daughters.

Carrie Underwood has had a huge year. Winning awards left and right, losing a ton of weight and now she is ending the year with an adorable new boyfriend. She is supposedly dating the cute Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, you know, the guy Jessica Simpson was recently linked to. Tony let the cat out of the bag during a recent interview. In Touch reports:

Sports editor Brian Nielsen tells In Touch: "After I asked him all my usual football questions, I said, 'My wife really wants to know if the Jessica Simpson dating rumors are true.'

"He laughed and replied, 'No. Tell her I'm dating Carrie Underwood.'"

Carrie, 23, looked on in disappointment from the stands as the Cowboys were beaten 23-7. NBC commentators Al Michaels and John Madden openly wondered if she was too much of a distraction for Tony.

It wasn't Carrie's first visit to the stadium. She was there on Thanksgiving when she sang during the halftime show at the Cowboys' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
