The stars came out Saturday night to find out who was Big in '06. They really have an award show for everything these days. Anyway, it was an interesting crowd that walked the red carpet. Check out Fergie who I think looks super cute. Hayden and Paris want us all to know that they're still super good friends. Little Ali Lohan is growing up and starting to learn to strike a pose. It's cute to see that she still has that cute innocence about her. Katharine McPhee was all dolled up and she must have been smiling all night since she won the IT girl award.

As for the men, well it wasn't as exciting, but Tommy Lee and Lance Bass seemed to be sporting new dos and love George Takei doing his thing. Britney celebrated her 25th birthday this weekend with a dinner at Mr. Chow in LA. Poor girl had to ask for a police escort out of the restaurant to protect her from the over 40 paparazzi that were following her every move that night. Britney likes to make sure she is protected and this includes her assets. It turns out that she's even made a threat to her ex-husband (the first one) to watch what he says. He's writing a book about their past relationship that she's not very happy about. Here's more:

Since Brit's split from K-Fed, their exes have come out of the woodwork -- with one claiming that Spears sent him a thinly-veiled threat.

Britney's 55-hour ex-husband Jason Alexander appeared with Fed's baby mama Shar Jackson on "The Dr. Ablow Show," where Alexander revealed that Britney contacted him by leaving a voicemail saying, "Don't say anything you'd regret." We're guessing this is exactly the behavior she was warning against.

Jason is really working hard to keep his name in the headlines. As for Britney, it looks like she had a blast celebrating her birthday. The good news is she seems to have found some underwear, but too bad her dress wasn't long enough to keep us from knowing she was wearing it. Jen took Violet out to Amici's in Brentwood for her first birthday on Friday. The mommy-daughter duo spent some quality alone time and you can tell Jennifer is enjoying every minute of it. However, she wants to make it clear she's not having another baby at the moment. Instead, she seems pretty worried about losing the baby weight she gained with Violet. Here's more:

"I'm in the worst shape ever," the size 6-8 ("definitely more an 8") actress, 34, tells Elle magazine in its January issue. "My trainer just shakes her head and says, 'This is a disaster.' "

Though she kicked butt as the star of Alias and Elektra, these days, she says, "I am as physically unfit as I've probably been in my whole life. It's such a horror in front of the mirror with no clothes on."

Lifting her sweater to reveal her midriff, she says, "You still have that little bit of extra skin, know what I mean? But still, it's enough for people to think that you're knocked up."

She adds: "No, everyone calm down. Nobody's pregnant" – although Affleck recently told Ellen DeGeneres he would love to have more kids.

While Ben was MIA at Amici's the couple are still going strong. In fact she also told Elle Magazine "Maybe it's because we were newlyweds. I think it's just that (Ben) is also a very understanding individual. A compassionate, generous guy. He's great with (Violet) and she loves him, which makes it a lot easier on me." Sounds like they have a great balance going in their lives. As for her body, we don't know what she's talking about since she looked fantastic, and very toned the other night at the GQ Men of the Year awards. American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee is having a big year. In fact, we caught up with her in Vegas before the FOX Billboard Music Awards, just after she'd been named the Big It Girl at VH1's Big in '06 Awards (more of that to come soon). She has been super busy working on her debut album, which comes out January 30, enduring a rather grueling schedule to get it out by the beginning of the year:

"After the third week of recording 10 hours a day, I was like, I just want to make this record good. They said, 'You’ll never make a record like this again. You’ll be recording one song a week as opposed to two songs a day.'"

Despite her busy schedule, Katharine looked radiant with porcelain skin and fabulous hair. We know she was the spokesmodel for Sexy Hair, so we thought it was funny when she freely admitted to wearing hair extensions. She joked: "I did cut it short at the end of the summer, so it’s grown so quickly!"

We were happy to hear about Eva's engagement to Tony Parker, and we're not the only ones. Parker said "Our families are so happy. This is a good time." He also talked about his surprise proposal and the couple's plans to marry in France next summer. People reports:

"Eva really wanted to get married in France," says Parker. "It's a beautiful country, a country of love and a place that is very special for us. It was important to her that we get married there."

Parker says that he asked permission from Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich to fly to California to propose to Longoria after the Spurs played the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Tuesday night.

"He was really great about letting me go," says Parker. "He gives me relationship advice and we talk about things. Last year, he let me go to the SAG awards to be with Eva and this year, he let me go for the proposal."

Parker says that Longoria was surprised to see him, because she thought he was traveling back home with the team. "We like to surprise each other and Eva's better at it than I am – showing up when I don't know she's coming to visit," Parker says. "I wanted the proposal to be very special, and a surprise for her."

Paris may have a new BFF in her life, but just because she's spending so much time with Britney doesn't mean she has forgotten about Nicole. Now that the two are officially on good terms with each other, Paris says they'll be friends forever. She said,

"We've been friends for 23 years of our lives and when you've known someone that long she's like a sister. I'm really happy to have her back in my life. I love her to death! We're definitely friends forever now. She's amazing. Nicole has a great personality, she's beautiful and sweet, and she's fun to hang out with. She's hysterical - she can make me laugh so hard!"
