Remember when Ben was shooting a commercial last summer and he got a Garner surprise? Well the ad is out, but not in the states. Ben Affleck made a sweet $1.8 million deal with Lynx (Axe in the States) to appear in several commercials. The ad includes the new and improved Affleck clicking his way through the day counting each time a female checks him out. The folks at M&M decided Nicole Richie probably shouldn't be endorsing any of their products since it's unlikely she will actually eat them. Nicole was fired as the sexy Green M&M and curvy Pam has replaced her. I think it's a much more appropriate fit anyway. Here's more info:

Anderson is replacing Nicole Richie to launch the green M&M, after concerns for stick-thin Richie's health. Organisers were worried that Richie, who is the latest Hollywood star to face serious eating problems, wouldn't be right to promote the launch of a chocolate. Richie is believed to be close to entering rehab again, so wouldn't have been a reliable choice anyway.

The last sentence is the most interesting. So is Nicole headed back to rehab? We think someone needs to intervene. She's so gonna break.

Nick Lachey's New Venture
Nick helps launch a safe Internet chat and networking site for teens. The idea is to keep creepy people away from these kids. Nick will be the co-founder of www.yfly.com, which is expected to launch this week.

Ms Bratman went food shopping with her hubby and it looks like Christina is one of those lucky girls who can eat whatever she wants these days. The cart includes potato chips and yummy cheese - not the healthiest of foods - especially for someone who will be on national TV next week. Christina will be performing at the Grammy's along with Coldplay, Mariah, U2, John Legend and more. I wonder which look she will be going for as she recreates herself again.

US Weekly clearly has been talking to Pimp Daddy Simpson. After the morning after mistake he has not only tried to expose Nick as having a new girlfriend, but now he has US make it sound like Jessica has her choice of a-listers. The Daily Blabber has the scoop on her man new men:

Actor #1: Josh Lucas. They met at the Chateau Marmont, where Jess is hanging all the time. Southern charmer Josh, who has dated Salma Hayek, walked right up to her and introduced himself. Jessica was reportedly flirting like mad. "Josh has the hots for her big time," a source tells the mag.

Actor #2: Jude Law. Yep, the newly single nanny penetrator is hot for Jess. The former Mrs. Lachey went to a late-night party in his suite at -- you guessed it -- Chateau Marmont. Five days later, they had drinks again at the hotel. Outlook? "He's a serious actor with children," a source tells Us. "I can't see them having anything in common." Me either.

Musician: As I've told ya, and told ya, Jessica has had something brewing with Adam Levine for a while now. But Adam tells Us: "Nothing is happening." I don't believe him.

Celebrity BFF: Justin Timberlake's best buddy/assistant/business partner Trace Ayala, who recently broke of his engagement to Elisha Cuthbert, has his been spending a lot of time with Jess. At this point, they are strictly friends, says Jessica's camp. Trace is also very close with Jessica's BFF Cacee Cobb.

Some say she has turned back to her Christian roots for some healing during her divorce. From what we've seen so far of her out on the town and rolled out of bed, I'm thinking those roots are gone forever.

I am not sure whether or not to believe this report, but since I want it to be true I thought I should pass it along. Apparently Zach Braff and Mandy Moore are engaged!!! We'd love to see them get married, but the source is iffy - In Touch is not nearly as reliable as People or even US.

The couple are staying tight lipped about their plans, but Braff, 30, popped the question and presented Moore - his girlfriend for the past 18 months - with a $450,000 (GBP250,000), 4-carat princess-cut diamond-and-platinum NEIL LANE engagement ring.

Moore's past boyfriends have included tennis ace ANDY RODDICK and actor WILMER VALDERRAMA.

Insiders tells America's In Touch magazine that the wedding is being scheduled for next April (07), when both stars celebrate their birthdays.

I think Katie looks adorable these days. She hit a rough spot for a little but she looks great pregnant. Apparently Katie is scared she will have a premature birth like her mom did with her. With all the stress of a soon to be mom, she seems just fine to me - especially when she has a few minutes to herself.

For those of you still wondering about Katie's mysteriously missing sex scene at Sundance, filmmaker Jason Reitman said it as had "been accidentally sliced off when the reels were spliced together." Not to worry, the steamy sex scene with Aaron Eckhart will be in the movie when it's released in theaters. I guess Tom doesn't have as much control in Hollywood as we thought.
