The British Academy Awards were tonight and they are considered a prequel to to the Oscars. This year's big winner was Brokeback Mountain and even Jakey G won for Best Supporting Actor. Others winners included Reese, Philip Seymour Hoffman & Ang Lee. To see a complete list of winners, click here.

Everyone looked fabulous and here are some of the highlights of the best dressed. Christina Ricci looked adorable, Heath and Michelle are still glued together, Charlize, Mischa, Renee and Neve glowed. Thandie Newton was also a winner for Crash. She looked cute minus the huge explosion on the front on her dress.

Jennifer Aniston has a scene in The Break Up where she gets super sexy and naked for Vince. The original story headline sounds funny as Jen gets "Naked and Hairless for Film Scene" since the scene involves waxing. No wonder he became attracted to her in real life too. Vince supposedly got Jen a pave-set diamond heart ring from Tiffany's for Valentine's Day.

And to end this story on Jennifer - we can report it's official gang - it's all over. Jen and Brad have completed the smaller details of their divorce. All is now finalized including Jen getting the house which is on the market and Brad taking control of Plan B, their production company. Jennifer still has a "minor stake" in Plan B but it doesn't seem like she will have any control over anything within the production company. It's probably finishing up projects she used to be involved in or just a money share deal. Maybe now the tabloids and the rest of the world can put this relationship behind us.

Paris Hilton turned 25 on the 17th and of course she had more than one celebration. She partied in LA at Spanish Kitchen and then had a second party in Vegas with the family at Pure. All these parties were coming off a week of celebrations in London. This girl really never stops. Btw, I hate that the extensions are back. She was looking better with the short hair.

Who knew that Newsweek would actually feature an article on K-Fed? In the article Kevin talks about getting gum out of carpets, his music, and hopes for touring someday. He also spoke about leaving the hospital with Sean P for the first time with "40 cars behind us, and there were another 50 lining the side of the Pacific Coast Highway, all trying to get a shot inside the front window." Could you imagine? That's crazy. The best line in the article is:

"Sure, there'll be the initial shock and awe," says Federline, sitting in the Malibu, Calif., studio where he's recording his debut album. "But they've already said so much s--t about me it can't get worse. 'He hates his children, he treats his wife like dirt, he gets high all day.' If I was that bad, you think anyone, let alone Britney, would put up with it?"

Things I don't get, why is he smoking at a gas station? And what's with all the people surrounding his car at the gas station while he chats away on the phone. It's amazing how this guy became so famous just by marrying Britney.

Page Six also reports Kevin was causing a raucous with friends this weekend. They said:

K-Fed annoyed Studio City residents the other day when he and a bunch of his low-rent buddies went out shooting air rifles in the residential area. According to tmz.com, Federline and a half-dozen pals were at an apartment complex in Studio City and "were playing war games in the densely populated residential area, shooting projectiles - possibly rubber pellets - from what appeared to be air guns with laser scopes." K-Fed's posse weren't even good shots. "Projectiles were hitting dwellings and cars as they frequently missed their intended targets," says the site. Residents were said to be annoyed.

Sounds like really fun times.

Reese and Ava stopped for a coffee break in LA this weekend. It looks like Reese skipped out on the BAFTA awards tonight even though she won Best Actress for Walk The Line. I'm assuming she did not make it to the event since Ryan is supposedly filming in DC and someone had to stay home to take care of the kids.

Matthew Perry has been getting back into shape for his new show, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. We are eagerly awaiting the new NBC show which will also include Amanda Peet, Steven Weber and D.L. Hughley. A similar show is being developed with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin. NBC says there is room for both of these comedies about behind the scenes of an SNL like show. We can't wait to see what happens this May when the new Fall TV schedules are announced. Stay tuned.

Hollywood is heading to Australia these days to enjoy their beautiful summer. The Olsens are the latest to head overseas to promote their fashion line. Page Six reports the girls just made a major change in their staff. They fired their PR man, Michael Pagnotta, who has been with them for 13 years. Annett Wolff is the new gal to give us lots of no comment remarks on their latest dating rumors and more.

Patrick Dempsey is on the cover of Details and in a fabulous new Grey's Anatomy tonight. I love that he has had a major comeback in his career. The Details article is about him making it early on and then not being able to get a job for years until finally he just didn't care anymore. Then Grey's Anatomy came along and resurrected his career to super sexy status. He sounds so genuinely happy to have had the opportunity to comeback in his late thirties and we're happy he is back in out lives too. We always loved him from those cheesy movies in the 80s.
