After yesterday'salmost nip slip, Jessica Alba made sure to dress very conservatively at The Inspiration Awards. No matter what she wears she looks fabulous. I think it's great that she can go glam and classy but never trashy. She is the total opposite of so many of the girls her age - it's refreshing. The worst part is she doesn't even try to look sexy and she pulls it off so easily. Don't even get me started on how she looks in a bikini. Now if only her career could be taken more seriously.

The lesser known Daniel Baldwin was arrested for cocaine possession in LA last week. It went almost unnoticed but TMZ reported the new tonight.
Then there is the more famous Baldwin brother, Alec, who has supposedly been such a brat that his off-Broadway co-star quit. Maybe Kim Basinger isn't as crazy as he tries to make her sound. The NY Post reports:
Jan Maxwell, who won rave reviews for her performance in Joe Orton's black comedy, wrote in an e-mail to a friend that Baldwin's frequent temper tantrums - including putting his fist through a wall because the air conditioning wasn't high enough - also caused her to fear for her "physical safety, mental health and artistic integrity."
In an interview with The Post yesterday, Maxwell said that while Baldwin can be "very compelling, funny and enjoyable, when something clicks in him, I don't want to be around."
"For her to pin all that on me is unfair," Baldwin said. "You'd think she was on the payroll of my ex-wife's divorce lawyer, pushing every button you could find," he added, referring to his ugly divorce from actress Kim Basinger.
I love his reaction. I don't get the fascination of the Baldwin brothers. I don't think any of them are attractive or talented. Alec is on SNL all the time and he is not worthy of almost holding the record of most appearances on the show (he is right behind Steve Martin).
Charlie Sheen is lucky that Denise Richards ran off with Richie Sambora because everyone has almost forgotten about the police report she filed last week requesting a restraining order from her and their kids. In the meantime, he is trying to prove his love for children by launching a kid clothing line. Unfortunately for Charlie, his legal battles are not over as another woman sues him for $1 million.
Jessica Simpson is apparently taking the high road by turning down her chance to be in Vanity Fair this September. In fact, she is so upset by Nick's tell all interview in Rolling Stone that friends have said she is heartbroken. People reports:
Jessica's reaction? "She was devastated, heartbroken," says an insider. "She didn't think he would do that."
Friends gathered at Simpson's house on the day the article came out to console her. And Lachey himself even called to check in. "He wanted her to hear it from him," says a Lachey friend. "He felt bad that she was upset. (But) Nick didn't apologize, because the things he said (in the article) only demonstrate that he loves her."
Simpson sees it differently. "What really upset her was the timing," says the insider. "Nick waited until two weeks before for his album to debut (Lachey's CD, What's Left of Me, will be released May 9] to tell a reporter that he loved Jessica. That's not cool." Furthermore, the insider adds, "he keeps saying, 'I'm sorry I couldn't make her happy,' but he is not choosing to say why."
I don't understand why she is so upset now. She was the one who ended things and Nick has every right to tell his side. If it's the timing that upset her, is she pissed that Nick is using their divorce to sell albums? Hello - haven't their entire careers been based off of timing appearances and news with albums and TV specials. Jessica is just pissed that Nick is beating her at her own game.

Extra is reporting that Rosie O'Donnell is expected to fill Meredith Vieira's seat on the morning talk show. This should make things very interesting considering Rosie was just bashing Star Jones. I wonder if they will sit next to each other?
"Extra" has learned exclusively that Rosie O'Donnell will be named the newest co-host of "The View," replacing the exiting Meredith Vieira.
ABC is expected to make the official announcement Friday, April 28.
The short list of other candidates reportedly included Connie Chung, Patricia Heaton and Soledad O'Brien.
This will be Rosie's big return since her Emmy winning morning talk show ended in 2002. I wonder how different she will be since she probably can't throw any koosh balls into the audience with Barbara Walters sitting by her side. I must say I was shocked to see she was the chosen one but it should shake things up so I look forward to seeing what happens.

Forget Angelina Jolie - Jennifer Lopez looks smoking in People en Espanol's version of their most Beautiful People Issue. I have not seen her look this good since her pre-Bennifer days. J Lo has had some tough image issues recently and I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of her with Marc but she is happy and clearly she is showing the world again how fabulous she looks and feels.
