Ted Casablanca reports that Tom Cruise would love to go back on the Today Show to talk to Matt Lauer. He is about to hit the talk show circuit to promote MI3 and apparently Matt is one of the top people on his list to sit down with. Is it because it makes a great headline or is it because Matt actually challenged his beliefs - who knows but we would love to see if something crazy Cruise comes of all this.

In other Tom news, Parade Magazine has an interesting interview that reveals Tom had no friends growing up and he also has daddy issues. He said:

"I had no really close friend," he reveals in the April 9th edition of Parade magazine. "I was always the new kid with the wrong shoes, the wrong accent. I didn't have the friend to share things with and confide in."

Tom reveals that his father was also someone he was unable to turn to. "He was a bully and a coward," he says frankly. "He was the person where, if something goes wrong, they kick you."

Poor Tom. Life was so hard growing up and then he became America's favorite bachelor, the sexiest man alive, the top A-list Hollywood star and now... a total joke. It will be interesting to see what happens when his baby is born and he does all the press for MI3. Isn't it crazy how the timing worked out so perfectly.

Sexy Stamos is said to be making his way back in the ER. He had a guest role earlier this season as Tony Gates, a paramedic who also is a medical student and a Gulf War veteran and he will now join the cast in their 13th season. I wonder if even Stamos can bring this show back to life. E! Online reports that John was waiting to join the cast once things with his ABC show, Jake in Progress, were figured out. While his other show has not officially been cancelled it was pulled after one episode and has yet to make it back on the schedule which is a shame because it was a fun show and we really likes John on it. As for ER, this show needs something new to bring it back to life but since Grey's Anatomy has become my medical drama of choice these days, I don't think even John's joining ER will make me tune back into NBC.

Did Kidman Get Her Marriage to Cruise Annulled?
Apparently Nic wants a church wedding to Urban so she has gotten her marriage to Tom annulled. As for when she is getting married, the latest reports are predicting June or July.

Paris talked a lot of trash in Elle Magazine this month. Maybe it was to stir things up since Paris and Nicole are currently filming what is expected to be the final season on The Simple Life but it sure made Paris sound like a cocky b*tch. She said:

"I've been best friends with her since I was two, but when I brought her on to my show, she got very jealous and turned on me for no reason.

"It breaks my heart. She was my sister. She was the funniest person to be around and then she let the fame go to her head.

"She's not the same person any more. I never want to speak to her again - ever."

She also said things like Nicole had nothing else to do which is why she was still involved in The Simple Life and that she used Paris' name to promote her book The Truth About Diamonds. Paris sounds bitter to me for some reason. I wonder what is really behind their break-up.

Lohan, Moss and Love in Hawaii
I call total BS on this story but it was so funny I had to post it. Apparently the trio have become buddies and area ll helping each other overcome their problems. Courtney Love and Kate Moss together watching over Lohan all sounds like a recipe for disaster. I thought it was a left over April Fool's joke but it doesn't say it anywhere. Can you even imagine this scene?

Jessica Alba was really angry at Playboy for using an image of her on their cover last month. She felt it alluded to the fact that she was posing nude and they had no right to ruin her image like that. She was so angry she planned to sue. Hugh figured out a way to make it up to Jessica. E! Online reports:

Hefner, Playboy's legendary editor-in-chief, wrote a personal letter of apology to Alba and made donations to two of the actress's favorite charities, Keep a Child Alive and the Until There's a Cure Foundation.

"In light of Mr. Hefner's personal apology for Playboy's unauthorized use of my photo on their cover, I have decided to discontinue my claims against them," Alba said in a statement Tuesday. "I appreciate Mr. Hefner's acknowledgment of the distress caused by Playboy's actions and I'm happy to put this unfortunate event behind me. This was never about money, it was about setting the record straight about something that was done without my knowledge or consent."

While Hef did reach out to make things right, I doubt we'll get to see sexy Alba posing in the magazine anytime soon. Sorry boys (and girls) but for now, we'll always have those fabulous bikini shots

The latest Jessica Simpson rumor is that she will play the Pam Anderson role in Baywatch on the big screen. Once again Pimp Daddy Simpson knows how to capitalize on his daughter's body and lack of talent. There's no doubt she'll look insane in that red bathing suit, but you would think she would want to try to be taken more seriously. Here's more:

Whatever went down, the hip-hop, designing couple are now saying they may not be splitting. In fact, he even admits to spending time with this 23 year old and he wouldn't mind if Kimora found another guy of her own - so is Russell telling the world he wants an open marriage? Separation? What separation? Yesterday — three days after formally announcing his split from Kimora Lee Simmons, his wife of seven years — hip-hop and fashion mogul Russell Simmons told me there's still "a possibility" they can save their marriage.

"This morning we woke up, the four of us, in the same bed — which is pretty normal for us," Simmons told me, referring to Kimora and their daughters Ming Lee, 6, and Aoki, 3. He said the family started the day at their Saddle River, N.J., mansion — one of several Simmons residences, including an East Hampton estate, a Tribeca loft and houses in L.A.
