Just because Tom's personal life is a total turn off does not mean his movies are. As always, the man can entertain and he can pull off an action movie better than almost any other actor out there right now. The most interesting thing about this movie was it was clearly directed by JJ Abrams. I felt like I was watching Alias on the big screen, which is not a bad thing considering the better cast and storyline. This movie does exactly what a summer blockbuster is supposed to do - it's fast, loud, action-packed and even includes a little love. Does the mission really matter as long as you can't take your eyes off the screen? There is no doubt that this movie will win the weekend box office. MI3 was better than the previous ones but thanks to Tom's personal life being so out there, I think it will not make as much money. Stay tuned.
Oscar winner, Philip Seymour Hoffman was the best addition to the cast as the quintessential evil bad guy. Other fabulous additions to the cast is the beautiful Michelle Monaghan as Tom's love interest, Laurence Fishburne, Billy Crudup, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Maggie Q, and Keri Russell. Finally I want to know what JJ Abrams fascination with Greg Grunberg? Don't get me wrong, I like the actor but he has had a part in every single JJ Abrams movie or TV show. He must be his good luck charm or something.
