Even the Hilton hotels don't want Paris to stay at their place. Page Six reports:

The heiress, appearing on the "Real Radio Breakfast Show" in Scotland, tried on-air to reserve a room in her name at the Glasgow Hilton and get a discounted corporate rate. But the humorless reservations clerk who identified himself as Kevin turned her down, sniffing: "There is no discount I can initiate, I'm afraid" - insisting she'd have to pay the full $310 for a standard queen-sized room.

Kate Bosworth and Brandon Routh were on TRL yesterday to promote the Superman Returns. The movie has already made $21 million from midnight showings on Tuesday and yesterday's official opening day. This is the 8th highest Wednesday opening. Hopes are high for more records to be broken this holiday weekend when the movie will be shown in over 4,000 theaters. As excited as I am to check out the movie, this weekend is all about the Devil for me.

Some people just don't think things through very well. When you are going to be involved in criminal activities, choosing one of the most famous men in the world as your photo on your fake ID is just not smart. Here's more:

A salesman tried to fleece a money exchanger in the United Arab Emirates by using an identity card bearing the picture of Hollywood heart-throb Brad Pitt, a local newspaper reported Thursday.

The Gulf News said the 29-year-old Jordanian had been told by his brother, who worked at the Dubai money exchange, that more than $23,000 in cash had been transferred to the bureau for a client who had not picked it up for more than three months.

The Jordanian then forged an ID using the client's name and a picture of Pitt. He hoped his brother would then be able to hand over the cash and keep a photocopy of the fake ID as record of the transfer.

LL and Nicole were at the Grand Opening of Social Hollywood in support of African Outreach, a charity event hosted by Charlize Theron. Charlize blows these girls away when it comes to class. She always looks so put together. Nicole seems to be filling out a little which is good since she has been spending a lot of time on the beach so far this summer. As for Lindsay, she looks like she aged 10 years. I usually think LL looks great dressed up at these events but I am not into this look, especially the hair and makeup.

We always fall in love with the coming of age high school dramas that never know where to go after a few years since the group has to graduate. Unfortunately, this year The OC was losing steam and even had to pull a few ratings stunts to maintain our interest. Looks like FOX doesn't have much faith in the future of the show either. E Online reports:

Fox is retooling its strategy as it heads into the Thursday-night fray this fall.

Instead of sending its 9 p.m. staple, The O.C., into battle against CSI and Grey's Anatomy every week, the network announced Wednesday that it has ordered up a mere 16 episodes of the rich-kid drama for 2006-07.

If the network airs all 16 new episodes in a row, it will be out of O.C. by February, giving Fox the opportunity to take a midseason replacement for a test drive, Variety reported Wednesday.

We hope the network gives them a chance to take the show in another direction. Weekly Adam Brody banter would be missed if The OC was canceled.

Avril went from pseudo-punk, hard-core, pop girl to a designer loving blonde who wants to act. We were not into the old Avril who always had something to prove. We like the girlie version of Avril. Besides, she's promoting her supposedly drug free lifestyle which is pretty rare for someone in her world. She said:

"I'm proud to say that I do not do drugs. I'm against them 100 per cent - and I don't hang out with people who do drugs."
