Seems Ms Lohan doesn't have time for first time directors. The actress supposedly pulled out of the movie called Bill at the last minute since the directors changed and she only wants to work with high profile ones. She has been working hard to make sure her image is aligned with the likes of Jane Fonda, Robert Altman, Meryl Streep, and Lily Tomlin so maybe she is doing something right. She sure looked amazing on Letterman last night. Too bad she acted like a teenager - oh right, she is one.

While the world waits for the most anticipated baby pics of the year, we can't help but think this is starting to get a little ridiculous. To make an official statement just to announce that they are selling the pics to raise money for charity only proves they are encouraging the bidding war. It's great they want to give away the money but are these guys getting a little too cocky? I sure hope this baby is gorgeous because the world has really high expectations after all the hoopla surrounding this couple. My prediction is that People will score the pictures. Stay tuned since even if we are almost over it, we still have to keep track of it.

The images, taken at a private photo shoot, will be distributed by Getty Images, the photo agency said Monday. All profits will be given to charity, though no specific foundation was announced.

BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie got top dollar for the first pictures of baby Shiloh - but they made the weekly celeb glossies work for it. All the weekly magazine editors were summoned to the offices of the Getty photo agency at Canal and Varick late Saturday night. "We were sequestered into separate and un-air-conditioned offices," said one. "The photos were shown to us around 10 p.m. to midnight, and then we had to submit bids by 6 a.m. Sunday morning. No one got any sleep at all, as it was a manic game of phone-tag to top each other's bids. I'm convinced it was Brangie's revenge on the weekly magazines." The pictures went to People for $4.1 million.

Since I still have The Simple Life topic on my mind from the last post, here's the latest Paris non-surprise. Paris has once again gotten caught in the act of smoking "something." We've had pics on the site before where Paris wakes and bakes in some hotel room. Now TMZ has a video of a more recent event. They report:

Paris Hilton was unnerved Saturday night when TMZ cameraman Josh Levine got a shot of the heiress smoking something as her ride pulled up to a Hollywood nightclub.

When Hilton saw the TMZ camera, she nervously and abruptly swung her head forward, pulled down her visor and began applying lipstick.

Elliot Mintz, her clearly concerned publicist who was at the club, sought out TMZ’s Levine and said: “I just want to get something clear with you. Paris Hilton rolled her own tobacco cigarettes. It was tobacco that you saw.�

Poor Elliot. I wonder if he is Nicky's publicist also. Between Nicky getting loose in Vegas and Paris clearly hot boxing on the way to the club, he must be making bank for all the overtime with these two clients.

The Simple Life 4 premiered and even though E! is trying super hard to keep the franchise alive, I think it is time it be put to rest. The fact that Paris and Nicole can't even be in the same room and they had to edit the program with them side by side was just awkward. The best part about the old show was how they sort of fed off of each other. However, as much as I wanted to write a little something about The Simple Life, I was really looking for a reason to post this hilarious photo of Nicole.

While we wish that Britney was replacing Kevin, I am not sure I believe the recent divorce rumors. I am very skeptical of the source so I will keep holding out until something more reliable comes along. In the meantime, poor Britney has lost her most popular searched personality on the Internet crown. Page Six reports that Ms Brit has been replaced by porn star Jenna Jameson. We want to hear some good news for Britney soon. In the meantime, we'll be happy with more pictures of her with the Manny instead of K Fed.

They have been engaged since 2003 and they already have a kid but they finally decided to make it official. People reports:

Actor Casey Affleck and his girlfriend of six years, Summer Phoenix, got married over the weekend, PEOPLE has learned.

Affleck, 30, is the younger brother of Ben Affleck; Phoenix, 28, is the younger sister of actors Joaquin and the late River Phoenix.

The couple first met through Joaquin Phoenix, Affleck's good friend since they costarred in 1995's To Die For. They became engaged in New York City over the 2003 Christmas holidays. Their son, Indiana August, was born May 31, 2004, in Amsterdam.

Congrats to the happy couple. Must be a big fun filled family summer for the Affleck family as Ben directs his brother in his directorial debut.
