Maggie was looking fabulous on Letterman last week and she let us in on a funny story about her fiance Peter Sarsgaard. He had an embarrassing run in at the OB/GYN and now he must be even more embarrassed that Maggie shared it with the world. Here's more:
Dave: “Your husband, is he…How’s he handling the pregnancy? Is he nervous? Is he excited? Is he…well, it’s a combination of both, of course, isn’t it?”
Maggie: “How is he handling it? Well, the very first time that we went to meet our OB, he walked in on her examining someone else.”
Dave: “Can you do that? ‘I’m just looking around.’”
Maggie: “He seemed kind of like Ben Stiller in a Ben Stiller movie when he came back in. Yeah, he went to put some quarters in our meter, and he was just this excited new dad, and he rushed into the room, and he saw some other woman’s feet in the stirrups. Like Ben Stiller or Hugh Grant, he had that kind of romantic comedy quality.”
Dave: “I wish I had thought of that.”

Nicole Kidman will kick off the Rome Film Festival on October 13th with the premiere of her movie Fur. It's the perfect spot for Nicole to premiere her new film; she has said about the beautiful host country, "I love Italy, a country with which I feel a great affinity, and I am proud to be present at the baptism of this important film-fest."

Paris is the latest to drop close to $200K for the chance to go into space, on a spaceship that hasn't even been built yet. She has reserved a spot on Richard Branson's spaceship he is hoping to build. So far a London-based advertising executive, an artist from Monaco and a 70-year-old who's skydived at the North Pole, plus a few others have signed up for the trip. Wonder if Paris knows she'll have to wear diapers for her big journey? Here's more:
Hilton may find the lack of luxury onboard a little trying as all passengers are required to wear diapers because there are no bathroom facilities on the shuttle. A source says, "She was a fan of the STAR WARS films and the idea of blasting into space thrills her, but I don't think she's done the research - the reality may not be her idea of fun."

Jessica's A Public Affair is released tomorrow and all eyes are watching to see if she can still sell albums now that she is no longer the southern girl we fell in love with on The Newlyweds. Jessica said she did not want the album to be about her break up with Nick since that's already been done (by him). However, that didn't stop her from including the lyrics to 'b.o.y.' to say, "Can you be my witness?/ Cause I’m still needin’ this boy/ breakin’ my heart, takin’ my money." Damn Jess. Don't you think it's some of his money too?
UPDATE: Word is Jessica had to cancel her promotion due to losing her voice. In Touch Weekly reports, "The 26-year-old has been forced to cancel appearances on Today, TRL and The Late Show with David Letterman, and flew into NYC a day early in order to see a voice specialist. After examining her, the doctor warned her that she wasn’t allowed to talk, and that if she did she could risk ruining her voice for good."

Angelina and Brad were spotted at the Burbank airport on Saturday afternoon. Check out Angelina's pilot gear - she looks like she's ready for a cocktail party in her black dress and heels rather than flying a plane. So RUMORS have been swirling that Jennifer Aniston may be the next big name to pimp Nike. We totally think this is an awesome idea since Jennifer Aniston has the perfectly toned body! We are a sucker for a great ad campaign since we used to work in that world. If Nike could land Jennifer Aniston then we would totally support it. They should throw money at her. Why you ask? Not only is she a recent winner of the best legs poll, but she supposedly wants to donate the money to a cancer charity. She even wants to team up with her fit friend Sheryl Crow. I personally have been an Adidas girl for years, but I would just do it for Jen any day!

Is Lindsay one step closer to landing a modeling gig at Chanel? She has tried in the past but things just didn't work out. However, designer Karl Lagerfeld holds a special place for LL so maybe her dream will come true someday soon. To celebrate the big event, the stars partied all night. A total upset by Grey's Anatomy didn't stop its team from having fun. As usual, Heidi and Seal were adorable. Someone or something shocked Debra Messing. Finally, the cast of 24 celebrated their well deserving, long overdue win. And what party would be complete without Paris Hilton?
