We only believe Britney news when it's reported by her favorite magazine, People. Too bad they were a little late to the game today. They are confirming the news that Britney had a boy just before 2 am but no new info on a name. US Weekly reports a weight of 6 pounds, 11 ounces. Here's more from People:

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have welcomed their second son together, a source close to the family has confirmed to PEOPLE.

The baby boy, who was born just before 2 a.m. Tuesday at a Los Angeles hospital, was delivered via a scheduled C-section.

"Kevin had a smile on his face. He looked happy and upbeat," says an observer.

The whole thing, says a source, was smooth – just as the mom-to-be had predicted to PEOPLE back in August, saying childbirth "will be a piece of cake."

I can't wait to hear what they call this little guy. So much for all the girl predictions and rumors.

Maddox is so bad ass. We love watching him grow up. We grew up playing soccer so it's great to see the little man getting into the sport. Who knows - maybe he looks up to Beckham more than Brad. The only thing I am not into is the mohawk mullet. What's up with that?

Last week Jessica confirmed she was not dating John Mayer, and may have fired her publicist over the US Weekly and People "I'm in love" covers. John Mayer is now speaking out about the romance... well, sorta. He isn't confirming that he did or did not date Jessica, but did sit down with Nancy O'Dell from Access Hollywood to discuss the rumors. Here's more:

There are real crises in the world; there are people who are fighting to keep their house warm and I'm not going to sit here and bite my nails because someone says that I might possibly have gone a date with a beautiful blond girl. I'm not going to sit here beating myself up over the head with it. But what is challenging to me is that I have a contract with my audience in a way, that I exist-- I'm their guy who's just here to play music, you know, and that has never changed. That has certainly not changed in the last 2 weeks and I'm here to play music, you know?”

Paris seems to be losing her star quality. She was denied last week at Bungalow 8, then gets punk'd twice and now she gets denied again. She went to Gramercy Park Hotel over the weekend where she thought she'd join Orlando Bloom, Winona Ryder and Josh Lucas at the Rose Bar. But Ms. Hilton wasn't allowed in by the bouncer. Apparently Ian Schrager, who owns the hotel, doesn't like Paris. He said, "the likes of Paris Hilton and her ilk are not welcome here." Damn - slap to the face.

Ms. Lohan and her boyfriend may have hit a rough patch. The two were parading around Venice together last week looking super happy, and even lead us to believe they may be engaged, but now we hear about their fighting. Sunday night the two were at a party where LL flirted with the DJ all night long. Needless to say, Harry was not happy. Here's more:

A stunned partygoer reveals: "When they arrived at the bash, they were chatting to everyone. But once in the Boujis tent, Lindsay made a beeline for Sam.

"She soon got carried away and she and Sam ended up DJing together. Then she began stroking his back and being really playful. At one stage, they even swapped numbers!" Meanwhile, Harry had a face like thunder.

"He kept trying to drag her away," says a fellow reveller. "In the end, Lindsay got so fed up with him that she went out to the balcony, had a blazing row and gave him a mouthful... then she went back to flirting with Sam."
