Looks like Mischa traded in Cisco for her smaller, furrier companion this week when she was spied at the Miami airport. We're sure Cisco doesn't mind her traveling with her dog, but he might be a little upset when he hears the latest rumor that his girl has been hooking up with a costar on her new film behind his back. But an insider says she has also found time to get cozy with a co-star on her upcoming film, "Don't Fade Away."

The lucky young man is actor Fran Kranz, an old high school buddy of Jake Gyllenhaal.

"They hooked up on the set in North Carolina," says a pal. "But I wouldn't say they were dating. It's more casual than that, even though it's ongoing."

This sounds more like something that Marissa would do on The OC. Although based on all of the celeb splits this year this is one we wouldn't mind seeing. Then maybe she and Rachel will hit the town together again. For more pics just read more

We used to love Claire Danes. Then that whole weird Billy Crudup thing happened. You know, he was about to have a baby with the fabulous, Mary-Louise Parker and then he left her very pregnant to be with Claire. Well, now they are over and Claire is supposedly with British actor Hugh Dancy. You might remember him from Basic Instinct 2 (Oh right - no one saw that crappy movie). Anyway, evidently he's up and coming and Claire is smitten and doesn't care who knows. The only problem is he might be playing for both teams if you know what I mean. Here's more:

The handsome British actor is "the other man" in the Claire Danes/Billy Crudup breakup - although some might be surprised he hooked up with her and not him.

An eyewitness says Danes and Dancy got together Nov. 2, a month before the split with Billy.

According to the source, they shared a bed "with the door two feet ajar, and everybody listening" in his suite at the swanky hotel where the cast was staying while filming "Evening" in Newport, R.I.

But horny Hugh didn't limit his attention to the ladies.

"The cast was pretty much drunk every night," says the snitch. "Hugh also made out with [screenwriter] Michael Cunningham in the lobby."

Plus, he was seen snogging the gay hotel manager, who lost his job.

The problem with dating a bisexual is that you have twice as many people to compete with. As for Claire, maybe she should lay low for a while. We want to root for her again, but we haven't had many reasons to want to recently.

Cate is busy at work on her film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which also stars Brad Pitt. The film is about a romance between a 30 year old woman and a 50 year old man who ages backwards. Hopefully, Cate won't have to romance Brad the entire time he's an old man. It's probably all the same to her. She and Brad are good friends from their work together in Babel, and she's also happily married. Staying married in Hollywood is no easy task either, but Cate doesn't seem to have any illusions. She knows it's hard to hold down a marriage in any profession. Here's more:

"I think marriage is all about timing," says the actress, who met her husband, Australian playwright Andrew Upton, on the set of a TV show in 1996. "Getting married is insanity; I mean, it's a risk – who knows if you're going to be together forever? But you both say, 'We're going to take this chance, in the same spirit."

Well it sounds like she and her husband have it all worked out. They've already been married for 10 years so she knows that of which she speaks.

Not too sure what's going on with Nic's hair. Maybe this look was inspired by his new film Ghost Rider, which comes out next month. In the film Nic plays stunt cyclist, Johnny Blaze who makes a deal with the devil to save his dying father. As a result, he becomes a motorcycle riding supernatural agent of justice. The film is based on the Marvel comic and since we love a good comic book movie we are expecting Nic to look a lot cooler than he does here.

Ashley had a full day yesterday. She spent some time running errands in West Hollywood and then headed over to Hollywood to pick up her doggy from the doggy-care center and get it some supplies. An onlooker said "She was so happy to be with her puppy. They looked so adorable together. She kissed her dog on the nose several times." At least we know there's a few things that guarantee a smile out of Ashley!
