When I first saw these pictures of Britney I was so pleased that she was finally bringing her infant, Jayden James, out of the house (finally)...but then I realized that she's just holding a bag of clothes and I'm an idiot.

Meanwhile, X17 has video of Britney saying that she and Isaac Cohen aren't seeing each other anymore, but I'm thinking she's just messing with the paps. At least she's keeping track of her own life through the gossip rags, can't blame her for not being able to keep up with all of her activities.

Cameron Diaz is in Hawaii visiting her friend, professional surfer Kelly Slater. The two have been seen cavorting all over the North Shore of Oahu, but his mom has been quick to say that the two are just friends. Likely story. InTouch reports:

“They have been friends for a long time,” Judy Slater said from her home in Cocoa Beach, Fla. “Every time somebody sees somebody else eating dinner, they think it’s a romantic thing. It’s silly.”

...Asked if she believed Cameron was using Kelly to get away, Judy said: “She might be — I don’t know. She just called him and asked if she could come over for a few days. It was nothing they had planned.”

Cameron and Kelly, both 34, have known each other since meeting on a 2005 conservation expedition to Honduras for the MTV show Trippin’.

Well fine, even if the two are nothing more than friends, you gotta admit that they would make a pretty smoking couple. Hey, maybe this little visit will result in something more for Cammie and Slater. JT deserves a little time as the jealous party for a change.

Jakey G is looking better than ever in this month's GQ. He kinda went away for a while but thanks to his new movie coming out that means we can expect a lot of press appearances soon. The film is Zodiac, and Jake plays a cartoonist who starts tracking a serial killer. Jake's at the top of his game career wise but that doesn't mean he's not concerned with his personal life (I guess that makes both of us). He says he's single now, but he's definitely open to finding the right woman and kids aren't far from his mind either. Here's highlights:

"I'm definitely thinking about that," he says. "Look-the most important job for a man is to find the right woman. It's the best we can do. I thank my father for choosing my mother. She's wonderful in so many ways. And she chose well, too. I've noticed in life that the mother, first, has a primary job-and as a father our job is to pick a caring, smart, mindful woman."

You can tell that Jake is just such a sweetie. His co-star Robert Downey Jr agrees. He says, "You could say he's too sensitive for the this industry...but he's a total bad ass." Gotta love it! Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey may both be in Australia to film Fool's Gold, but it looks like they're spending their extra-curricular time in slightly different manners. While Matty has women grappling onto him like it's going out of style, Kate is taking her son, Ryder, to museums, playtime at the pool and video stores.

Leo looks absolutely yummy at the Tokyo premiere of The Departed. While the film will no doubt do well in Japan, another country is banning it all together. China Film group, China's state-run film importer has deemed the Hollywood hit unsuitable for Chinese audiences, but didn't give a reason why. We aren't too worried though, the film seems to be doing just fine everywhere else.

The first rule of working on Halle Berry's house is that you do not talk to the Halle Berry. The second rule of working on Hally Berry's house is that You Do Not Talk To The Halle Berry.

So, Halle Berry is having her kitchen cabinets restained and there are a few on the job rules for the lucky workers. TMZ has the story:

First, any worker is prohibited to approach Berry while in the home or on the premises. Second, no one is allowed to speak to the A-list Miss B at any time. Finally, the only approved interaction is if Halle speaks to you, then you may answer Her Fineness.

Wow, she sounds like a joy to work with. I wonder if she's got the same rules for her hot model boyfriend.

Jen, Ben and baby Violet went to the eye doctor in Santa Monica yesterday. The happy family is so normal but we just can't get enough of them. Little Violet is just so precious. Jen recently spoke about how much she loves being a mother and how beautiful it is to watch Ben with their daughter. Jen has learned other lessons as well. She told People, "I was rocking her, and she was fascinated by the light hitting the ceiling. I thought, 'God, for the past five years, I haven't stopped to look at light on the ceiling for (one) second.' To slow down and go at her pace has been such a gift."
