Britney Spears looked a little more subdued than usual arriving at the Beverly Hills Hotel for her first co-parenting class with Kevin yesterday afternoon. Who has parenting class at the Beverly Hills Hotel? The Spears Federlines, of course! The ex-couple's next custody hearing isn't until tomorrow, but before then they are to have finished three of their six sessions (in which they learn how to be polite to each other, use "I" phrases, etc) and Brit has to have three individual sessions, too. Sounds like today is going be busy for both Britney and her lawyer, who told TMZ that this morning he plans to plead not guilty to Brit's misdemeanor charge for driving without a valid license. Never just a quiet Thursday for her. Just like all things Britney, this week has potential to end with some drama.

Lindsay Lohan all dressed in red treated herself to pizza, coffee, and cigarettes after her dance lesson in LA yesterday. Still no sign of her boytoy, but apparently even four mugshots aren't enough to scare away LL, or her family. In fact, Lindsay's dad Michael even talked to Extra about his daughter's new man, saying, “Riley is a good kid. He comes from a good family. It’s not about what we did in the past. It’s about righting those wrongs. I don’t think anyone has the right to judge Riley. They [Lindsay & Riley] keep each other in line. They go to meetings with one another.”

Michael loves any chance to talk to the press but at least he sounds supportive. We're doubtful, but hoping Riley really will be a good influence, since most of you feel that Ms. Lohan is going to have a hard time resisting future temptations.

After starting out the week getting into some hot water after remarks she made taping Leno, Halle looked absolutely spectacular at the London Film Festival premiere of Things We Lost in the Fire last night. The color, the back, the cut! Seriously, she doesn't even look pregnant, what's up with that? Sadly the hot hot dad-to-be Gabriel Aubrey wasn't by her side to complete the look. The heart-wrenching movie didn't premiere spectacularly on its fairly small release opening weekend, but is getting decent (even good) reviews. Either way, I'm sure the movie isn't her new (or upcoming) release that is foremost on her mind.

Britney's visitation rights with her boys have been reinstated, and yesterday she was spotted playing good mommy pulling Sean Preston and Jayden James around in their little blue wagon. Today Britney and Kevin attended their first parenting class together. Apparently Brit was emotional, but the fact that she even showed up is a step in the right direction. It's one of the few times the exes have reunited, and they will be continuing to do so for the recommended six sessions. It should be interesting to see how all this turns out.

In other Britney news, apparently her backup dancers from her VMA performance have yet to be fully paid for their services. We're thinking someone should get on top of paying off the dancers to get the media to stop reminding the public of Britney's terrible performance. Oh right, she doesn't currently have management. Maybe that is part of the problem.

John Mayer looked a little forlorn driving away from the Chateau Marmont last night after an evening spent with friends. Yes, David Beckham was at Chateau, too...quite the manjoyment-fest. Maybe John was missing his girl Minka, or maybe something happened to his famous OJ Rolex. Oh no! Either way, hopefully, he turns that frown upside down soon. Then again, some of the best music in the world comes from sad songwriters.
