It's time for the second annual Make An Ass Out of Me Halloween bonanza! I asked for some help on Team (explained the history and showed off the super embarrassing video of my Britney/Matt Lauer reenactment), but now I'm coming to all of you. Fab's costume ideas are absolutely fantastic, but I'm all about looking like an idiot. Also, dressing like people you have to be a celebrity gossip aficionado to recognize. For example, I'm throwing out Violet Affleck and her Crocs, half Pete/half Ashlee and Kanye's Ego (dressing as a concept is always fun) as ideas, but I'm sure you've got better ones. Let me know in the comments and I'll run a little poll on Monday. That'll give me two days to get the oufit and make a fool out of myself. Happy Halloween! Thanks in advance for the help!
Nicole and Joel are back from their vacation down under, but in this week's issue of OK! Magazine they dish about how much they love Australia and even reveal that their baby was probably conceived there — talk about an over share. We've gotten used to seeing Joel and Nicole as a cozy couple, but we haven't forgotten about the old days with Duff, and apparently Nicole hasn't either. One source claims that Nicole likes to tease Joel about his ex, saying, "She will ask if he's going to watch Lizzie McGuire DVDs or listen to Hilary's albums. Joel tells her she's being out of line."
Whether this quote is actually true or not it certainly gave us a good laugh. We know Nicole is funny from her Simple Life days so we're not surprised she's still got sass.
Adam Brody was looking all hot and manly as he picked up a few bags full of stuff at an LA bookstore yesterday afternoon. Nothing better looking than a man who likes to read, right? but then he had to go and ruin it by putting on that hat. Hate the hat. It seems like he's got a lot of time on his hands these days to catch up on the classics (and work on that beard), but I can't help but miss his sense of humor and adorably geeky ways on TV. Maybe he can pull a Bilson and a guest spot on one of Josh Schwartz's new shows, too? Perhaps a little Seth Cohen cameo to show Gossip Girl's Penn Bagdley what being lovably indie is all about? A girl can hope.

Casey Affleck is still promoting Gone Baby Gone alongside his big brother, but these days he's catching our attention all on his own. He's talked about keeping his personal life out of the media and joked about not being a recognizable star, and in the process, Casey has won us over with his adorably snarky comments. His recent interview with Express is no exception, as he talks about disliking work and proves he doesn't take anything too seriously. Here are highlights:
- On the role he enjoys most:
"To be perfectly honest, I don't really enjoy playing anybody, except Casey Affleck lying on the couch watching the Red Sox. For whatever reason, it's either because it doesn't come naturally to me or because I'm just somehow inclined toward strife. I don't know what it is, but, usually, when I'm working, I'm not really having a good time."
- On the 'Year of Casey':
Does that mean I get a calendar? What does that mean about January? Is my year over? I feel like every year is another year of my life. I never realized the first 31 years were somebody else's.
Casey is a smartass, but there's something charming about his refusal to buy into the Hollywood lifestyle. That said, he might want to get used to becoming more popular since it looks like we'll be seeing a lot of this leading man in the future.
The most stylish teenagers on television showed off even more envy-inducing outfits in the pages of the upcoming issue of Hollywood Life Magazine. If you've been living under a rock, we're talking about the very pretty young cast of Gossip Girl. We've been coveting the ladies' wardrobes right from the first episode, but we love that the boys are getting into it too. Checking out their fall ensembles is definitely a fun way to pass the time, but we still can't wait to find out about the juicy aftermath of the masquerade ball episode.
