As we told you earlier, Britney's second stint in rehab was about the same length as her first -- under 24 hours. Since she left Promises early this morning, it seems like the entire city's worth of paparazzi are on the hunt for the star. After only a few MIA hours, Britney was spotted entering the office of Blair Berk, a civil defense lawyer who has boasted a roster of celebrity clients like Lindsay Lohan and Halle Berry. Interestingly enough, Berk also worked with Reese Witherspoon on her suit against some paparazzi, so if Britney wanted to visit the lawyer for similar reasons, she certainly brought her case along with, or behind, her. Judging from one first-hand bystander account, the swarm of photographers surrounding Brit is more aggressive and intense than ever.

Poor Britney looks and sounds like she is increasingly lost and confused every day. It seems that she is not ready to ask for help, even if those who love and care for her most would love for her to seek it. Once again, we hope for the best and that she can find the guidance that she needs before this gets any more out of control.

Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley have remained friendly exes which is why we were surprised to hear that he wasn't invited to her wedding. I mean he's even the Godfather to her son Damien. Now it turns out that he's not only invited to the wedding, but also slated to be an usher and make a speech! Wonder if this change of events has anything to do with Hugh's recent break-up with Jemima? She couldn't have been very happy that he was still so close with his ex. Either way, we're happy that he's going. They've been through so much together. It just didn't feel right that he wouldn't be there to share in her big day.

Christina Ricci looks smoking hot (and sometimes smoking cigarettes) in this photo shoot for the British publication, Another Magazine. Never let it be said that the girl has trouble taking a fabulous photo. Even though we're not entirely sold on the premise of her new movie, it's cool to hear her open up to the mag about the experience making the quirky film and her feelings on the state of the independent film festival circuit. Here are highlights:

• On Black Snake Moan:
  "I had to walk around in basically just my underwear all day long. And I would. I wouldn't even cover up in between scenes because I needed to feel comfortable like that. When someone's not comfortable, I think you can see it on camera. And also I needed the crew to be used to seeing me like that so that every time i looked at them I wouldn't see in their eyes: "Oh my god, she's got no shirt on!"
• On Sundance:
  "It used to be a lot of fun, like ten years ago, and now, having seen coverage of it over the past couple of years, it looks kind of weird. Paris Hilton at Sundance? What's she doing there? It's not a nightclub! These people break the first rule, you just don't got to a festival as an actor if you haven't got a film there! I'll be there for one day and then I'm leaving immediately!"

Kirsten and her new man friend, Drew's ex Fabrizio, were spotted leaving Teddy's in LA this week. The two haven't admitted to any romantic dalliances yet, but rumors have it that they've been looking pret-ty close pret-ty frequently for some weeks now. I may be going out on a gossip limb here, but I'd venture a guess that perhaps there's something more going on between these two. She has been known, however, to keep a few of young H'Wood's finest at her beck and call at a time. Kirsten is set to be a presenter at this weekend's Oscars, so I wonder if a certain hipster drummer will be her date? Who knows though, 'cause if you're young, male and floppy-haired, you're never safe from Kirsten's eye.

Everyone (okay, well my) favorite environmentalist/HBO TV Star, Adrian Grenier, brought down the house with his band The Honey Brothers at the kick-off party for the SoHo House in LA's Oscar Week. The Brooklyn native loves spending his time off from filming Entourage, touring with the band, but I for one am excited to see his return as Vince Chase. Also coming out on HBO this spring is Shot In The Dark, an autobiographical documentary Grenier made about his 2002 search for his father. He recently talked about all of these very different projects. Here's more:

Shot in the Dark is another, much more personal film/documentary, you've created. How did go about this? Is it hard to share such a personal part of yourself with the world?
I haven't quite shared it yet, not until it airs June 8th on HBO. I am nervous but feel confidant in HBO not to exploit the movie. They get it, they know and respect how personal the project is to me. they take good care of me. But at the end of the day, I am an actor and somewhat used to being vulnerable in film.

What's new with The Honey Brothers? Do you ever want to stretch your musical arms and get out from behind the drum set (according to the ever so resourceful Wikipedia, you also play french horn, guitar and piano)?
I embrace all the misinformation about me on the internet, I also clone horses in a small science lab in Dumbo. You should come to our show sometime, i do play guitar and sing on a few songs, but we are a very democratic band, if you write em', you sing em'; unfortunately I have been too busy to write much these days. But I declare that will change.

Hey anything that involves more of Adrian is fine by us. Entourage is coming back early this year, too (April), so it should be a very Grenier Spring. Yay.

Posh and the kids celebrated Cruz's 2nd birthday at Burger King yesterday. How cute is he in his little pirate outfit? It's so funny to see Posh at BK; you'd think she would do something a little more celeb-worthy. David was stuck at work and she says that contrary to what people think they live a relatively simple life. That doesn't mean she isn't still worried about how others perceive her, especially when it comes to moving to the states. Here's more:

"I am the first to say - do people really know who we are in America? We are very realistic about that."

As much as she adores her sons, Posh admits three pregnancies have taken a toll on her figure.

In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, she reveals: "Quite often I take the linings out of my clothes to improve the fit.

"I never allow them to get seethrough, though. I can't bear see-throughness at all - not after three children!"

We think Victoria is being a bit modest. You'd have to be hiding under a rock not to know who the Beckhams are! And we really can't wait to check out the latest additions to the DVB brand.

Kate Walsh, more familiarly known as Grey's Anatomy's Dr. Addison Montgomery (pre-divorce she was Shepherd), is apparently set to star in her own spin-off series premiering this Spring. She is probably my favorite character on Grey's these days (yes, I watch Grey's, sigh), so I will be sad to see her leave Seattle Grace. I just hope that the new show can keep Addison as feisty, deadpan, and awesome as ever. In the end, as long as the teeny little babies keep being saved in her more than capable hands, the more of Kate Walsh, the better.

Lucky for Lindsay Lohan, she wasn't in her rehab(ish) long enough to miss out on the new hot spot while it's still hot. Monday night (yes, she's been out every night since her release) a casual Linds hit up Winston's, the new trendy bar in town. Thankfully, as with all the other H'Wood haunts, silly things like drinking ages don't apply at Winson's and Lindsay was let in without a problem. I kid, however, because obviously most of these places somehow qualify as "restaurants" so it's not technically illegal to chronically admit the underage. Appletinis almost count as food, right?
