It is no secret that I have a thing for Matt Damon. The nicest guy in Hollywood is even more attractive when his daughter Isabella has her arms wrapped around his neck. As if that wasn't enough to take your breath away, add Clooney to the mix and well, just remember to take deep breaths people. Matt, lucky Luciana, their daughter Isabella and George were enjoying themselves at the Eden Roc Hotel. The boys will soon join Brad Pitt on the red carpet for the Ocean's 13 premiere. Jessica Simpson should stick to her own cliched lyrics -- she is so much more beautiful with nothing but a t-shirt on (fine, and jeans). She was out and about enjoying the Spring in NYC with her BFF Ken Paves this week, probably dishing on her recent reunion with John Mayer. As predicted when they announced their split last Friday, as soon as Jess returned stateside the two met up for a romantic dinner. A source close to the couple (whatever that means) described it as such: "I don't think they're sure. All I know is that they like each other and saw each other. Everyone's waiting to see what's going to happen...They're in a normal relationship. This happens with relationships sometimes." If hoping that these two work it out is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Here's an unlikely red carpet duo -- David Beckham and Helen Mirren rubbed elbows at The Greatest Britons awards in London last night. David is off to the states soon, but his country loves him, no matter where he calls home. They proved that last night by honoring him with the Greatest Briton Overseas award. Unfortunately, Victoria was busy in LA shopping filming her reality series so she couldn't make the show. We're sure Helen had no problem keeping him company without her!

Drew Barrymore was out and about in Santa Monica this weekend, and seems to have found herself a Kelly Slater lookalike to match her friend Cameron's buddy. It's been a few month's since we've seen Drew out and lovey with her rumored man, Spike Jonze, so perhaps that was an extra brief fling? Because after being seen with this beefcake, she was also spotted with another new friend (his pic is below). Certainly these could both just be strictly platonic friends, but it's nice to think she's just entertaining a bevy of new gentlemen callers, right? Play on, playa.

Kate and Pete had some surprisingly wholesome looking fun this weekend. Pete participated in an all-rock stars charity soccer game as his supermodel girlfriend cheered him on from the sidelines and videotaped the boys with her old timey camera. Everyone (okay, I'm mostly shocked about Pete) looked surprisingly healthy and happy. So, maybe there is hope for these two crazy kids after all.

Kirsten and Johnny were enjoying each other a little bit more than the England vs. the West Indies cricket game this week in London and they didn't seem to care who was watching. Spider-Man 3 may have lost its top spot at the Box Office this past weekend to Shrek the Third but it's still raking in the bucks and just upping Kirsten's asking price for the next one (if there is one). Obviously she's on top of the world right now.

Angelina and Brad looked beautiful at the A Mighty Heart photocall earlier in the day, but at the actual premiere it was glamor all the way. Brad really snazzed it up in a tuxedo and slick-backed hair, while Angie opted for a stunning simple black number. None of their little kiddies joined them, but Mariane Pearl herself was there holding the hand of her brave little man. To help promote the film, Angelina sat down for an interview with Ann Curry which will air Wednesday on both the Today Show and Dateline NBC. Here's a peek at what she had to say, specifically on not reading what is written about her:

I know there’s a cycle of certain things that they keep rewriting or whatever, but I can assume things are made up. But no, I haven’t a clue. (laughter) And why would I, you know? There’s nothing I have to hide or defend. You know, I’m gonna live my life. And there are gonna be times when people wanna try to attack me and I don’t know why, but they will. And that’s okay...

Well, there are other things I’m more concerned about. My kids are healthy. I have a lot I want to do in this world. Before I do, I wanna do a lot of things as a woman, as a mom, and that’s my focus. At the end of the day, I’m gonna be dead... and what people say about me is gonna be what I accomplished and what I did in my life and how my children are.

Despite being one of the most famous and controversial celebrities around, it really does seem like Angie has a good head on her shoulders. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this movie turned out. If the preview is any indication, I can't imagine there was a dry eye in the theater at the end of the film.
