Lindsay clearly has a way with people. There were rumors that Jane Fonda didn't even want LL at the Georgia Rule premiere but based on their chumminess last night that was clearly not true. Now Gary Marshall and James G. Robinson, the Georgia Rule director and producer behind the public letter admonishing Lindsay's bad behavior on the set last summer are now coming to her defense. This week, they both had comments about Lindsay, her reputation and her recent cocaine scandal. Here's more:

• From Marshall, the director: "Any publicity is good publicity, but in this case, I think it distorts what a good actress Lindsay is."
• From Robinson, the producer: "She's 20 years old, one of the most famous women in the world. That's a lot for someone. ... She's a good person. She's a nice person. She is not a little b*tch. She's a nice, decent person. She just likes to stay out too late at night."

Josh was back on set of his movie, August, in NY this week. I can't even remember the last time we saw Hot-nett in sunglasses that weren't the Ray Ban Wayfarers. Though I can't say I love these a whole lot, either. There were rumors last month that he spent a romantic weekend in Turks and Caicos with Penelope, but more recently the Helena Christensen rumors are back. Cry him a river, right? He supposedly spent some quality canoodling time with the model back in February, but until this week there were no further rumors. If it's true, though, Josh is cute and all, but big score on his part.

We've already gotten a few gorgeous glimpses of George flashing that smile on the set of Leatherheads, but this is our first peek at his cute co-star, John Krasinski. In the 1920's era movie, the boys vie for Renee Zellweger's affections. We love watching John as the adorably average Jim Halpert on The Office, but it looks like he's making major moves to the big screen. He plays Lancelot in Shrek the Third, and he'll co-star in License to Wed with Mandy Moore. Seems like John is one to watch, so it's a good thing he's easy on the eyes.

As for George, we just got one more reason to look forward to the premiere of Ocean's 13. Producer Jerry Weintraub will throw a series of premiere events to help launch and raise money for Not On Our Watch, a humanitarian organization founded by Don Cheadle (whose new book has the same title). Not On Our Watch raises awareness and provides aid to relief efforts in Darfur.

There is something distinctly comical about these pictures of Jude Law on a stroll around London this week. Everything seems a little ill-fitting. Including his hair which always seems so done but meant to look effortless. But really, is that a ladies jean jacket? Not that there's anything wrong with that. There is no doubt that Jude Law can clean up well, but sometimes when he is left to his own devices it just makes me giggle.

Kirsten was still showing off her quirky fashion sense in NY this week. You all may have voted Kirsten worst dressed at Monday's gala, but at least it was nice to see her so happy on the arm of her new man Johnny Borrell. The two have been living it up in NY and caused a bit of a stir this week when they breezed by the brunch wait at popular Cafe Sabarsky. Kirsten's rep maintains she had a reservation so she wasn't cutting in front of anyone. Really though, isn't always getting a table one of the perks to being a celebrity?

Dina Lohan graced the red carpet of Georgia Rule last night, but not just as a guest of her daughter. She was there working as a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, despite little experience in the field. Some people are rightfully skeptical as to why she got the gig. According to Page Six, "Dina wants to be a TV star. But 'ET' may just be hiring her so they can get the Lindsay exclusive." You think?

Dina has used Lindsay as a way to get herself press more than once before. We all remember that ridiculous Harper's Bazaar interview and champagne wielding photoshoot she so tactfully posed for soon after her daughter left rehab. Even better, Lindsay was apparently less-than-happy when her mom flew cross-country with an ET crew to interview her while she was still living at Wonderland.

The latest rumor is that Dina, who calls herself the White Oprah, is vying to replace Rosie on The View. We doubt that will ever happen though. Judging from the way that Lindsay's life is going these days, especially in light of the recent coke stories, it sounds like Dina should focus a lot less on her flailing career and a lot more on being a good mother to her four children.

Work that signature, Carmen! Whatever, she looks damn cute posing with her literary masterpiece. The book was released yesterday and while I haven't yet picked up my copy, I think we can all guess what the subject matter is. Hey, write what you know, right?
