Madonna and Guy hooked up with Justin for dinner at Locatelli's while he was in London this week. He recently revealed that he's writing songs for her new album and we can't wait to see what these two come up with! Justin has been working overtime with his tour, Shrek premieres dinner meetings with Madonna and even releasing new videos (check it out after the jump). We are a huge fan of both of their music so we are not only hoping they produce some fabulous tunes but maybe even sing a duet as well!

Fresh off a Hawaiian vacation with Jim, Jenny and Evan arrived at LAX yesterday afternoon. Jenny looks adorable with both the special men in her life, but especially with the one in her arms here. Jenny is as gorgeous as ever and who would have thought back in her Singled Out days that one of her most successful ventures would be authoring books! Her fourth non-fiction book, Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism, about her experience with Evan, comes out in September.

Recently we heard that Kate was being considered for a new campaign for L’Oréal and now it's been confirmed. Kate flew to Paris this week to attend a dinner where it was announced that she is the new face of Trésor, the fragrance from L’Oréal's Lancôme Paris. Too bad we have to wait until September to see what we believe will be a classy beautiful campaign.

The NY premiere of Claire Danes and boyfriend Hugh Dancy's new film Evening was last night and seasoned celebs were out in full force. The film itself is based on the novel by Susan Minot and is about a dying woman played by Vanessa Redgrave who reveals a secret to her daughters on her death bed. Claire plays Vanessa as a young girl and Hugh plays her lover in the film. Rumor is the two met and fell in love on the set when Claire was still with Billy Crudup! It's no wonder then that Hugh was a little vague when asked about how their real life feelings translated to the screen. He says, "Screen chemistry, it's never actually as simple as it may seem. I mean, it's a nice tag, but the reality is that chemistry, or any kind of relationship between two characters on screen, is something that's worked on by actors and a good script, in my opinion."

Rachel Weisz isn't in the movie and wasn't looking her best last night, but she's got some big movie news too -- she's just signed on to star in Peter Jackson's adaptation of The Lovely Bones.

Drew Barrymore was all about black and white the other day in LA. Even though her last couple of films haven't been blockbusters, she's still a hot commodity. In fact, she's just been cast as the lead voice in Disney's upcoming film South of the Border. She will be the voice of a pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua who gets lost in Mexico and has to rely on the doggies she meets along the way to get back home. Sounds like a cute family film. Perhaps Drew learned a little from her BFF Cameron about the fabulous world of voice over work.

It's quite the day for gentlemen protecting their ladyfolk, isn't it? First we talked about Jay-Z/Rihanna, then there was Nick's display for Vanessa and now we've got Pete getting physical to defend Ashlee! Over the weekend, Pete was in his hometown of Chicago on tour with Fall Out Boy and decided to play a few acoustic tunes at his after party. Afterwards, a crowd member was heckling Pete about Ash, which infuriated Pete enough to retaliate with violence (photos of the bloody aftermath here). Today, after this story got out, Pete sent this response to MTV:

"Yes, the guy was heckling me and the band, so were other people, most in good fun. But we get heckled onstage all the time, and while I'm a jerk, I'm not the kind of person who would ever lash out at someone simply over this. I mean I'm not as big as Akon and haven't written as many good songs. The truth is on the way out the door I had to pass directly next to the guy and I knew it, so I kept my head down and walked out. As I did, the guy reached out and grabbed me and said something I couldn't really hear — it was a glorious use of the English language, though. As he grabbed me, I punched him. Yell all you want at me, say whatever, but in a situation like that I will defend myself. After that, of course, it got chaotic, [but] we have several independent witnesses that gave statements saying he grabbed me first ... I am not worried over the outcome, as I was clearly in the right. Anything anyone else is saying or writing is simply not true."

Come on, Pete. Don't you know that violence is never the answer!

Luke Wilson and Tea Leoni premiered their new film, You Kill Me in LA last night. Luke's film Vacancy came and went but hopefully You Kill Me will be more popular. The film stars Ben Kingsley as an alcoholic hit man who is sent out to the West Coast to dry out. Luke plays his gay AA sponsor and Tea is the love interest. It hits the theaters June 22 so click here to check out the trailer. If this film isn't for you then there's always his August release with Jessica Simpson, Blonde Ambition, but we're still a little shocked he signed on to that one.

Nick & Vanessa may have just flown the friendly skies, but on land leaving JFK Mr. Lachey was feeling decidedly un-friendly. The two were en route to their awaiting SUV when a pesky paparazzi said something particularly infuriating to Nick. After first helping Vanessa into the car, Lachey grabbed the photographer by the arm (video here) and, according to the paparazzi whispered, "I'm going to f**king kill you if I ever see you again!" Hmmm, I wonder what the photographer said to get such a rise out of Nick? He's not usually one to let them get under his skin.
