After spending last weekend with her new found BFF Adrian Grenier, Paris' Sunday involved solo shopping in LA. She's got a little extra cash to spend, too, because she just sold her home in the hills supposedly in order to move somewhere with more privacy. She's been trying harder to do good lately, but her new image may just be a publicity smokescreen. Page Six reports that Paris fired Elliot Mintz and hired a crisis management publicist to help her look better in the media. The publicist is denying his role in the transformation, but we'll all find out sooner or later if Paris can really keep her promise to change her ways.

Mischa Barton changed out of her colorful See by Chloe number and into an all white dress for her afternoon out in NYC yesterday. So, perhaps we got a glimpse into those shopping bags after all. Over the weekend Mischa was spotted flirting with James Blunt at the James Taylor concert in the Hamptons, only neither of them could make up their minds about each other. Rumor has it that first Blunt ditched Barton to hang with the Olsens and then when he came running back, she left him at a bar later in the night. Sounds like she changes her feelings on boys as often as she changes her summer dresses. Summer loving, right?

Jennifer Aniston may be getting ready to make NY her home, but the west coast will keep bringing her back. Next up on Jen's schedule is showing off her directorial debut short film, Room 10, at the 2007 Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films & Short Film Market, which starts on August 23rd.

Jennifer made Room 10, which stars Robin Wright Penn and Kris Kristofferson, a while ago as a project for Glamour Magazine, and she's clearly still getting mileage out of showing it off. Plus we can't blame her for wanting to take advantage of a few days in relaxing Palm Springs. We love watching Jennifer on-screen and we're willing to bet she shines even behind the camera.

Here's even more Nicole showing off her baby bump around NYC after having some girl time with Mischa. It's not often that we see pregnant celebs pulling off skinny jeans, a tiny tank top and sky high Louboutins, but she looks radiant. Nicole seems more confident than ever these days, even when Joel isn't right there next to her. I'm loving it. There's still many months (and a few days jail time) before Nicole has her baby, but hopefully the new, responsible Nic is here to stay.

Selma Blair looks like a tiny pixie with her short spikey do in the pages of the September issue of Dazed and Confused magazine. While we love her look here and in her sexy Gap ad, sometimes we wish we saw more Selma on the big screen. In the article, Selma comes clean about taking more obscure parts and why she admires Angelina. Here are highlights:

On being an actress: “There was a time when I would brush things off and I was so self-deprecating, like, “Oh, it’s such a tiny role no one will pay attention. But now, I’m just grateful to have them and I hope I get more because I’m a character actress. You know… I don’t bleach my teeth, I chain-smoke, I’m flat-chested, I don’t mind being nude, I’m not precious, I’m pale as a ghost, I have crow’s feet, and I believe I can play anybody. So to get to start to do that has been incredible.”

On Angelina: “I was watching Angelina Jolie the other night on TV. Ann Curry was interviewing her. And Jolie has turned out to be such a poised woman. She has really lived so many lifetimes in front of the press. It’s really something. she’s obviously so accomplished. I can’t even bear to watch because she is just too perfect. I hope I can have that kind of poise at some point.”

We love that Selma is so happy and confident with herself these days and recognizes that her quirks make her unique. Like Kate Winslet, it's so refreshing when the stars reveal how down to earth they can be.

Lindsay Lohan is still holed up at her outdoorsy Utah rehab, Cirque Lodge, but as usual the trouble follows her even when she's laying low. At least this time her trust isn't being publicly betrayed (for once), rather one of the people involved in her DUI car chase is suing LL for emotional damages. Tracie Rice, who was in the car with Lindsay's former assistant and her mother being chased by Lohan, is seeking an unspecified amount of money for, among other things, medical bills to cover emotional distress. She said LL:

"put me through one of the most frightening experiences of my life...What Miss Lohan did that night was extremely dangerous and reprehensible. Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions that evening."

Yikes! Suing seems a little ridiculous, but I can't say it wouldn't be terrifying to be chased down by an angry LL. Hopefully soon she'll be healthy and ready to face any of her legal consequences so she can put this all behind her.

Holy 90s cutoff sweatshirt, Justin! Get this man some snap bracelets and neon shorts! Ha, anyway, Justin once again dined at his new restaurant, Southern Hospitality. So either he really loves the food or wants to make sure the place gets as much press as possible. At least he's taking some time to rest and relax before his two big Madison Square Garden shows tomorrow and Thursday. He's obviously played the biggest venues in the world, but it's still gotta be quite the rush every time.

Christina and her nighttime shades caught up with her mom, step dad and little brother for dinner in LA last night. She's still yet to confirm any pregnancy rumors, but rocking only flowy loose fitting tops none the less. Obviously it's her business to tell or not tell, but if she and Jordan are happily expecting it's going to get harder and harder for her to keep to herself -- especially considering the rumor that she is going to perform with Tony Bennett at next month's Emmys. Either way, it's great to see that Christina is feeling all better after her end of tour health scare.
