Well we heard the rumors that Nicole and Joel were thinking of getting married and now there is new evidence to fuel the fire. Our friends from NJC sent us this picture of Joel from the concert last night where the local DJ announced to the crowd that Nicole and Joel are engaged! While apparently the DJ broke the news, Joel certainly didn't confirm it so while this all sounds thrilling, we're still waiting to hear it from the happy couple. It seems like a great idea since they're about to have a child but it's all happening at a warp speed for these two. I can't help but say, it must be so weird for Duff to hear all this craziness.

Jennifer Garner and the adorable Violet seem to have found new and exciting places to venture out to these days. It feels like forever since we've seen Violet at a park! Talk about excitement! The mother daughter duo changed things up this week by heading to a lake to feed the swans. Jennifer looks casual yet fabulous. Not sure what it is in these pictures (maybe the hair), but she looks great. Does anyone else think Violet is getting blonder by the day? And yay - no crocs!

Jessica Simpson showed off her most professional model face in these ads for her fall line. Jess' movies may not be doing totally awesome these days (you know, in the sense that Blonde Ambition is going straight to video), but her fashion line seems to be everywhere. Heck, even her bathing suit line is pretty cute. In fact, her ballerina flat was the best selling shoe in America for 2006 -- who knows, maybe we're looking at this year's big seller right here. I never would have thought it, but fashion may just be Jessica's biggest success yet.

Gwyneth Paltrow looked gorgeous while in Chicago promoting, Pleasures Delight, the Estee Lauder perfume she models for. I'm definitely loving this curly hair more than the dramatically straight look she was rocking in the September W Magazine. Though I will say that dress makes me want to pull it up onto her shoulders to hide those (obviously intentional) bra straps. She's been the face of the scent for a few years now, but these days it feels like you can't actually call yourself a celebrity until you've released or modeled for a fragrance.

Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas took their reunion to the stage in Seoul on Thursday. It looks like Fergie needed a break from being glamorous and decided instead to show off those insanely fit abs she's worked so hard for. She is quite the world traveler these days, but she's headed back to the states to perform "Big Girls Don't Cry" at the Teen Choice Awards on August 26th. Maybe cute cute Milo will even make an appearance.

This week was a lot about getting used to a pregnant Nicole Richie. Also, kind of learning to love her and Joel together. Surprising news: she looks awesome! Who would've thought? Here's what else went down:

• Meanwhile, Britney had her own share of trouble to deal with from magazine covers to photoshopping controversy to lawyer issues to...Criss Angel? And Kevin subpoeoned Alli, Shannon and the mannyguard.
• Ew. Paris and Adrian keep hanging out.
• Monday brought us back to The Hills -- but were you paying attention to their awesome gadgets?
• Out of nowhere (for me) John Mayer got hot! And is maybe seeing Cameron?
• Beckham scored! And looks good in a suit. Yays!
• Christina wore a lot of flowy clothes (::cough::pregnant::cough). you know, not that that means anything necessarily.
• We saw the whole Jolie-Pitt family, and then date night, and then rumor time (obviously).
• Kate Hudson was very cute in Harper's, with her little man, and with her little man on Chris & Dax's shoulders.
