Brad Pitt took off the hotness hard hat and showed off his salt and pepper beard to talk about his green house building project in New Orleans yesterday. He may be getting older, but I'm going to pin the fine wine principle on this one (you know, better with age). This morning the first part of his interview with Ann Curry will air on the Today Show and in it he'll talk about his work in NO and what it means to help rebuild the iconic city. He says,

"This is an important city...It's important to us culturally. It's also an important city to us economically...I know a lot of the people here. I care very much for the area...I see a great responsibility."

Brad's project may only happen one house at a time, but he's clearly got his heart in the right place. I can't wait to see his whole interview (and how many questions about Angelina and the kids Ann tries to work in).

Matt and Luciana got all decked out for yet another premiere of The Bourne Ultimatum in Berlin last night. It must be tiring for Matt's family - especially adorable Isabella - to follow him all over the world for his projects, but apparently he can't function without them. He said, "The only time they haven't come with me was for the Tangier sequence of this film and as soon as I got there I realized it was a mistake. Being apart wasn't good for any of us, so now they come everywhere with me." Aww, we just can't get enough of Daddy Damon - even if he claims that his cute family is making him a little worse for the wear.

LA got a little more Old West last night with the premiere of 3:10 to Yuma with Christian Bale, Russell Crowe, Ben Foster and the gorgeous Zoe Kravitz. I wonder how Lenny feels about his 18-year-old daughter being so red carpet lovey dovey with Mr. Foster? There's definitely a shortage of the often-Manjoyable Christian Bale around these parts, but, I'm happy to report, not for long. Not only is he releasing one of this fall's Hot Westerns, but he's hard at work in his Batman suit on The Dark Knight. Check out some new stills, including his hotness and Heath's scariness here. Perhaps his most interesting upcoming gig, however, is as one of the many Bob Dylans in the biopic, I'm Not There. Hey, a lot of Bale? No complaints here.

While Lindsay Lohan is living the outdoors life at sleepaway camp in rehab, her legal issues may be sorting themselves out without her. According to TMZ, there is a "strong possibility" that the DA's office won't file felony charges against LL for either of her two DUIs from the past six months. Yes, really.

Similarly, the starlet who had cocaine found in her car at the first arrest and pocket at the second (you know, not that they were her pants), apparently won't be charged for possession in either case. This leaves LL with two misdemeanor charges meaning up to four days in jail (not prison). And the final bit of good news for Linds in all this is that if there are no felony charges pressed, she doesn't need to show up for her Friday court date. Of course. Is it still wrong to call this celebrity special treatment?

Here's a little more from Jennifer, Courteney and Coco's beach day in Hawaii. Something about these pictures is just so gorgeous, and it's more than just the scenery. It looks like Jennifer thought the scene was pretty picture perfect too, as she took the opportunity to take some pictures of her BFF's family. Brad showed us how to make a hard hat look sexy with the help of his aviator sunglasses in New Orleans this morning. It doesn't hurt his appeal that he's doing good and working on the Holy Cross project, an eco-friendly organization that has been helping re-build houses since Hurricane Katrina. Brad will be sharing his progress with Ann Curry for an interview that will air on the Today Show tomorrow and Thursday. We bet Angelina and the kids miss Brad while they're back in Chicago, but luckily this way they'll still get to see his smiling face.

Kate Hudson took a break from cute Ryder and Dax to get back to work on Bachelor No. 2 in Boston this week. In the movie Dane plays a man who is hired by recently dumped guys to take their ex girlfriends on bad dates in order to convince them to return to their boyfriends. I can only assume that trouble arises when Dane has to take out Kate and convince her to return to Jason - only Dane falls for her instead. Nothing too groundbreaking, of course, but Kate always manages to be endearing on screen. Plus, everyone has a soft spot for Jason Biggs, right?

Matt Damon is looking younger and better than ever these days while promoting The Bourne Ultimatum overseas in Berlin, but the actor was recently joking about how fatherhood has made him out of shape. He spoke about how he used to work all day and head to the gym at night since he had no reason to get home. Isabella is 14 months old and his whole life has changed as he rushes home now to see his girls before they go to bed. He said:

"I've had the same personal trainer on all the Bourne films but once he left this time, that was it for me and working out because I wanted to get home to see my daughter before she went to sleep.... Towards the end of filming they had to shoot around my belly," Damon jokes. "If you pay close attention you'll see the zipper on my jacket creeping up and up. I had to keep that jacket on."

"Halfway through the movie [director] Paul Greengrass looked at me and said, 'You look terrible,' " says Damon. "I told him, 'I'm sorry. I'm awake all night with the baby,' to which he said, 'No, it's really good. She came along just at the right time – she's really helping your performance,' "

We love that Matt has turned into such a family man. We were always a big fan of him as a fabulous actor but this version makes him even sexier!
