Katie and Suri kept up with the fabulous fashion trends in Paris with a quick midday wardrobe change yesterday. It may have had something to do with Katie's little fall that resulted in a bloody knee, but no worries, the fashionista changed into something even more feminine and pink including knee-high boots. Sweet Suri got worn out after carrying around her heavy bags all day, but carrying a sleeping baby in your arms only makes for a great accessory in our eyes.
Fergie rocked an Emma Watson reminiscent pill-dress at the launch party for her new line of Kipling bags in NYC last night. Unfortunately she didn't have my favorite accessory, Josh, on her arm, but I suppose the bag she designed is good enough. Fergie was showing off a black tote, but just like Fergs herself it has a little bit of flare with that bright blue accent. I wonder whether this will be a new event staple for The Duchess -- if so, maybe we'll be seeing another one this weekend at the Teen Choice Awards where she is slated to perform. Hey, maybe she'll even bring that date of hers.

Hayden Panettiere is looking super sexy on the special edition of FHM, but we're much more excited about the awesome cartoonified versions of our favorite heroes! Masi even got to go a little risque, ditching the glasses and teasing his hair - love it. In the issue, our Hiro gets real about working with Hayden and how he gets around without teleporting. Aww, we love that Masi is so funny and down to earth in real life - not to mention a pretty brilliant geek. We really wish September 24th would hurry up and get here so we can see what happened to everyone and what's new for us in the season ahead.

After spending an awful lot of time in gray suits, it's no wonder why Matt Damon kept it suuuper casual in a (oversized?) t-shirt at a Bourne Ultimatum photocall in the Netherlands on Thursday. Between this summer's promotional schedule of Ocean's and Bourne it's impressive he can still put on that great smile. I guess that's just part of what makes Matt so endearing - he seems both genuinely happy and boyishly grateful for the place he's in. To top it all off, thanks to little Isabella, he's now got one of the most precious families in Hollywood. How do you like them apples?
Earlier today the happy expecting parents were seen taking Honey Child and Foxxy Cleopatra to the vet in LA. Then TMZ reports that Nicole has checked into jail to serve her DUI sentence of 4 days. She checked in to Lynwood Jail at 3:15 pm but she was already given credit for one day for the 6 hours she served when she was originally arrested. Word is the jail is so crowded that there is a chance she could be out by tomorrow. Sounds about right since this is the same place that let Paris go early. We hope her baby and those pups are all okay.
UPDATE -She's out of jail already. TMZ reports she spent 35 minutes in a cell but after a total of 82 minutes in Lynwood, Nicole Richie is a free woman.
It was back to work in NYC today for jet-setting Brad after spending time working on houses in New Orleans this week. Brad and Angelina do tons to give back and Global Green is obviously a project he is very passionate about. In the second segment of his interview with Ann Curry, Brad the visionary talked about how the new houses represent first steps toward a world without utility bills. He said:
“The idea that we pay utility bills is absolutely unnecessary. I mean, there's the sun. Feel the breeze that's been created here. And we got water right out there. Any one of these can be harnessed. And we can integrate ourselves into that ecosystem, and not only power our houses, but actually produce energy for other parts of the city.”
While Brad's ideas may be a long time away from becoming a reality, it's always encouraging to view firsthand how celebrities are taking small steps towards changing the future of our world. Is Brad inspiring you to help save the planet?
Lindsay Lohan, who earlier today was charged with 7 misdemeanor counts and no felonies (which most of you agree is a little light), will serve one day in jail. According to TMZ, she was credited for time spent when she was arrested and will serve 10 days of community service in lieu of two more days in jail. On top of that she will be on probation for 36 months and attend 18 months of alcohol eduction. By January 18, Lindsay must prove she has completed rehab. Lindsay, who has remained quiet during all of this and currently remains at rehab in Utah released the following statement:
It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs.
Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to the charges in my case. No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have.
I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so.
Pete and Ashlee looked giggly and smitten leaving Chinawhite nightclub in Soho, London last night. While I definitely wish that she would lose the hat, at least these two aren't at Nicole/Joel levels of matchiness. Pete is in town with Fall Out Boy for a series of shows, including this weekend's Leeds Festival and Ash, of course, is along for the ride. We all know she doesn't like to let her boy out of her sight for too long.
