Salma Hayek shocked us with her pregnancy news earlier this year and now her baby has finally arrived. The little girl's name is Valentina Paloma Pinault. TMZ reported the news that includes a statement from her publicist saying, "Mother and child are doing well." Congrats to Salma and her fiancé Francois-Henri Pinault. We can't wait to see the designer duds on this child!

People reports that George Clooney and his new girlfriend Sarah were hospitalized today after getting into a motorcycle accident in New Jersey. George's rep confirmed that the couple's motorcycle was hit by a car. Luckily George only suffered a fractured rib and road rash and Sarah was treated for a broken foot. Both have since been released from the hospital in NJ. We're so glad to hear that they are OK.

Phew - what a scare. Could you imagine this news being worse. What a terrible way it would have been to kick off the weekend. Luckily, we don't have to go there. Hopefully we'll have more pictures of a laughing Clooney back to work on Monday.

Britney was spotted crying in Westwood today. Life keeps getting messier for the pop star who now faces charges of hitting a parked car last month and driving without a valid California license. TMZ reports:

"Britney Spears has been charged with one count of hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California license. Both charges are misdemeanors, each carrying a maximum of 6 months in jail."

This combined with the drug tests and the custody battle are breaking Britney down. Her arraignment is set for October 10. We hate to see everything going so wrong for Britney but she seriously could have been more careful when parking her car.

Keira showed her tough side while looking glamorous in the October issue of Allure. We've seen lots of Keira this summer from her gorgeous Chanel campaign to walking the red carpet for her films in Venice, London and Toronto. Even though she looks to have put a lot of effort into her polished attire, it turns out she's not so into dressing up and posing for the cameras. In the article she talks about her self esteem issues, red carpets events and more. Here are some highlights:

• On how she chooses characters: There is a definite f** you quality to the characters I choose...A lot of times in cinema today the women are overly sentimental, so I constantly try to do the opposite. I like strident women.
• On the fleeting nature of fame: “Oh, it will, it will. Jesus, if I know one thing about the industry, it’s that it’s a moment. A flash in the pan. That’s what’s lovely about it...But it’s hard, because one moment you’re the hot thing, and the next moment — you’re not. And there’s no rhyme or reason for it.”
• On red carpet nastiness: “I hate red-carpet events; I absolutely hate them. I don’t like the fact that people write, ‘Oh, you look like crap’ in print. Or ‘I don’t like your arms!’...I’m not Wonder Woman. I have self-esteem problems. Everybody does. You know, skinny people are allowed to feel sh*t about themselves.”

Obviously Keira can speak her mind and she is not a frail little girl. She is strong willed but she still has insecure moments like many of us. She even reveals that life in LA made things worse. Figures.

Paris Hilton spent the afternoon shopping yesterday, including a stop at Agent Provocateur, which is a good call because it looks like she could use a bra. It doesn't look like Maggie G's saucy ads inspired her to buy anything though. It also would seem that she spent some time clutching her Blackberry Curve as she considered boots that are made to look like a bare leg wearing heels? What even are those? So bizarre, but something tells me if anyone would wear 'em it would totally be Miss Hilton. I'm sure she has room for them in her fitness room turned shoe closet.

Before we finally caught a glimpse of some Scarlett and Ryan PDA, she was hard at work on the set of He's Just Not That Into You. She protected herself from the sun with her cute umbrella and red sunglasses, but apparently Scarlett also required a little bit of extra assistance. Us Weekly reports that she requested three assistants to carry umbrellas over her in addition to being shuttled around the set. They make her sound a bit diva-ish, but we hope she doesn't think she deserves special treatment considering she's so not the biggest, most experienced star working on that movie.

Jessica and Dane stopped by TRL earlier this week to share some stupid human tricks (as she refers to them). Alba did the same shtick on Leno where she showed off things like her bendy thumbs. She looks beautiful, but even her great looks can't convince us to see this movie. Alba may be thrilled to enter the world of romantic comedies but reviews have been pretty harsh. On a brighter note, Dane and Jessica raised $260,000 for disabled children with a charity screening of their movie in Knoxville.
