Angelina may not have ended her contract with St. John just yet, but she's already wearing more color, showing off a red sweater dropping Maddox off at school on Friday. She, Brad and their aviators have figured how to sneak Mad in the back door at school, which will hopefully keep the school officials more happy with the frenzy surrounding the super famous family. This week has been go go go for Angelina and Brad, so here's to the weekend bringing a little bit of peace and quiet (and fun with Shi's new FAO goodies) for the Jolie-Pitts.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie weren't the only celebrities at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York last week. Shakira was also in attendance to announce a $40 million dollar donation dedicated to helping Latin American victims of natural disasters. Adding to her impressive generosity, the singer also announced a $5 million three-year project to help impoverished children in the region. While she was in town, Shakira made time to meet with New York’s Mayor Bloomberg to discuss other anti-poverty initiatives. About her philanthropic efforts, she said:

"I believe that some of these issues need a vehicle, a bridge that brings people together and that somehow can affect directly and touch directly our generation."

It's nice to see a celebrity matching words with action. And Shakira's awareness of world issues should definitely earn her an A+ in her Western Civilization course at UCLA.

Once again it's time to check in with our favorite red headed soon-to-be mom, Isla. She and her equally adorable Sacha Baron Cohen grabbed a bite to eat out in LA on Thursday, only this time she let him be the one wearing the incognito bear hat. Must be crazy for Isla & Sacha how the paparazzi presence has grown so much as she becomes more and more pregnant. It's good preparation for the frenzy of those first baby pictures. Luckily for them this time around it won't be nearly of Shiloh/Suri levels, but who knows — at the rate these two are becoming photographer favorites, superstardom (and celebrity baby mania) may be just around the corner.

Kate & Ryder were looking like twinsies with their matching hairstyles yesterday in NYC. The mother and son were enjoying the beautiful day at Chelsea Pier. They even spent some time making goofy faces in a photo booth. It's so crazy to look at Kate and can't help but see the mirror image of Goldie in her 20s. Crazy how that works, isn't it?

The biggest thing on my docket this week was the real start of Fall TV. We welcomed back old favorites which made us laugh — like The Office, excited — like Heroes, angry — like Grey's, and at times sad — like Ugly Betty. We also officially fell in love with some new TV — like Chuck. Oh, and I've totally given into the guilty pleasure and fabulous clothing that is Gossip Girl. Now if only I could figure out my TiVo schedule. Sigh, I totally have a life. Here's what else went down:

• Clooney and Sarah crutched around New York. Well, she crutched and smiled while he looked hot and carried her extra shoes. Sweet.
• Jack Bauer Kiefer got a DUI. Ugh, not another one.
• Sad face, Becks' dad had a heart attack. Posh rushed to be by his side.
• Garner continued to be the most dimpled and most endearing actress in Hollywood. Especially when she talks about Violet & Ben.
• Britney had her typical highs and lows, but it was better than last week. But her boys always have each other. Plus, her song is killing it on iTunes!
• Jessica and Cash are back together and lovey dovey with a vengeance.
• The Jolie-Pitts had another full week — charity, and school for Mad, nametags for Zahara, and toys (with a smiley Shiloh).
