Marcia Cross took a break from filming Desperate Housewives this week to take her adorable girls, Eden and Savannah, for a walk with their nannies. The girls are back on Wisteria Lane tonight and between Edie's suicide attempt, Lynette's cancer battle and Gabrielle's tryst with Carlos we can't wait to see what happens. Another day, another bad Britney outfit. Cowboys boots, shorts so big she has to fold them over and expose the pockets and of course, the exposed midriff. It wouldn't be Britney if she didn't show some skin but even though she was supposedly embarrassed by her body at the VMAs she is still not covering herself up. The good news is her hair looks slightly better and her dog is very cute.

The Darjeeling Limited opened the New York Film Festival on Friday, in typical Wes Anderson-quirky style. Not only did he premiere his back story short film starring Natalie Portman at the Apple Store on Tuesday, but the night before the big screening most of the cast and some friends gathered to unveil the special LV luggage that Marc Jacobs designed specially for the movie — loving the jungle animals! I'm sure Owen was missed by the rest of the Wes Anderson gang on the red carpet. Any event with Bill Murray and Anjelica Huston is awesome, it's just a rule, even if Mr. Murray is looking a little, uh, weathered these days. Meanwhile, way to sass it up Molly Shannon! I know you don't all agree, but come on, Adrien Brody looks kinda hot at these events, right? Right?

SJP went briefly went brunette but switched back to blonde while still shooting scenes for SatC this week. The girls worked hard one special day to shoot scenes at Christie's auction house. The location was only available for one day so the cast had to work extra hard to make sure they got what they needed. It turned into a 19 hour work day but that didn't seem to upset any of the extras who revealed, "Sarah Jessica Parker worked so hard and was just wonderful to everyone involved." It's good to know everyone is dedicated to making the movie a success, even if it means spending a lot of time in painful stilettos.
