Yesterday we gave you a taste of our exclusive interview with Ashlee Simpson, where she talked about how excited she is for her upcoming album and tour. She also gave us the inside scoop on what it was like to shoot the quirky video for that first single we can't stop singing and even revealed who designed the strait jacket she wears at the end. Here's more:
Molly: The first song is so much fun and the video is fun in a different way. It's a little bit dark — you talked about Salvador Dali and Being John Malkovich influences in it, but it's got kind of a different feel than the song does. Was it fun to make? Intense?
Ashlee: It was definitely intense. I think it took 46 hours pretty much to make. One day all I got to eat was a Subway sandwich and I was like man... I can't wait for tomorrow to go to Chili's! So it was definitely intense. And I think the great part of it was I got to have so many fun looks. It was great for everybody. Everybody got to be artistic on the shoot and we all got to do amazing, cool things. The coolest part was getting to be on the harness when I'm in the strait jacket. And my strait jacket was Vivienne Westwood, that was pretty cool!

Disney party! Some of the world's biggest tween sensations came together in Hollywood last night to celebrate the premiere of Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert 3D. Budding fashionista Miley herself was the belle of the ball, of course, showing off a darker hair do and some heavy eyeliner alongside HSM 3 star Ashley Tisdale and those heart-throbby (I guess) Jonas Brothers. At only 15, Miley is quite the teen queen, but she had a few thoughts on her predecessor Britney Spears' current situation. She said, "I think it's so crazy and I think that she needs help...If I didn't have them [my family], I'd probably be in the same position...You just got to know who your true friends are and I think for me, is my mom. If you have sisters, I mean any girls that are in your family, that can understand and relate to you, I think is the best.”

Looking slightly less glam than she did at the Chanel party, Blake Lively was out in NYC on Thursday missing her most important accessory: rumored boyfriend Penn Badgley. But since Blake is on vacation now that Gossip Girl is over for the season, she can totally get away with keeping things more low-key than Serena would. While we impatiently wait for more episodes, Yum has a recipe for the truffle grilled cheese that Chuck makes Serena in the pilot. That just might hold us over until GG returns.
Cloverfield: Something's Coming. . . And It's Awesome I am genuinely surprised by how much I love Cloverfield, the JJ Abrams-produced monster movie which, despite being heavily promoted through viral marketing schemes, has largely managed to remain shrouded in mystery up until today's release. The viral stuff was starting to get exhausting — and ridiculous — and I worried that all this hubbub would be for naught, and all of us Abrams fans would be fiercely disappointed. I was wrong.
From simple and fresh to done up and sophisticated, Kate Boworth's Vogue spread is varied, but always gorgeous. Instead of a standard photo spread, Kate was styled by seven top designers including Proenza Schouler, Phillip Lim 3.1, Derek Lam, Rag & Bone and more. Lucky girl, right? She may be an actress, but she's certainly got that model quality. Which look is your favorite?
