The Sandler family put on their weekend casual wear (well, Adam did at least) for a little trip away from LA up to Mount Baldy on Saturday afternoon. Despite the fact that it looks pretty sunny at the base, Adam was ready for some seriously winter weather. I spent many a college afternoon frolicking on Baldy and in these winter months I'm sure they found some fun snow to play in. Yay. (Fun fact: Adam's fellow SNL alum Chris Kattan spent most of his childhood living in Mt. Baldy village.) Sadie looks so much like her daddy it's uncanny, right? After not-so-surprisingly publicly defending Tom Cruise earlier in the week for being great and kind to everyone around him, obviously family man is the most valuable piece of Adam's resume.

Kiefer Sutherland was just released from jail last week, and we have a feeling he's pretty happy to ditch that orange jumpsuit for his dapper coat and scarf he was wearing in NYC yesterday. We still can't believe he had to serve his full sentence, but we're just happy to see that he made it out in one piece. Plus, his jail time can only help him to relate to Jack Bauer, right? That is, if he ever gets the chance to get back to work on 24.
Adrian Grenier made time for a jog (and a little jamming out to his iPod) yesterday before getting all suave for the SAG Awards. He probably wishes that he was back on the slopes at Sundance, but, alas, he's gotta take what he can get, and there's no complaining about LA weather. This may not be Adrian's best ever look, but it's a better workout look than his Halloween costume. Fortunately, though, he really turned up the handsome on last night's red carpet.
Celebrity Style: Leighton Meester Gossip Girl Leighton Meester hosted a bash in Las Vegas, but ditched the usual Sin City glitter. Instead, she opted for classy, and a bit sassy, in her Catherine Malandrino colorblock dress. I'm digging the purple, teal, and black combo! Since her frock isn't available to the masses yet, an alternative is to re-create her look with some similar pieces. Attention: Do try this at home.
Nicole Richie made her big post-pregnancy debut on Friday night and it appears she is no longer in hiding. The brand new parents were also spotted yesterday on a coffee run. Nicole's probably pretty happy that she can have her favorite things like coffee and sushi again, and based on how quickly she bounced back to her teeny self, we have a feeling she had no problem cutting out those pregnancy indulgences. Seeing her and Joel back to their daily routine is fun, but the real treat will be when they are finally ready to show off new baby Harlow.

We were borderline shocked that Katherine Heigl's smiling face wasn't all over the red carpet at the SAGs last night, but it looks like she chose personal over professional this weekend. She and Josh played moving company to start unloading their stuff into their new digs in LA. Meanwhile, 27 Dresses came in at No. 3 at the box office, so maybe Katherine is okay with being absent from our TV screens since she's shaping up to be quite the movie star.
