Two people believed to be Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were shot and killed this afternoon in the home of the mother, Darnell Hudson Donnerson. They were found by the actress's cousin. Jennifer's 7-year-old nephew was reportedly kidnapped from the scene, and there is an Amber Alert out in the greater Chicago area. The boy's mother reported him missing. Reese Witherspoon had her jogging buddy back in LA yesterday, spotted out for a little afternoon exercise with her man Jake Gyllenhaal. The duo looked picture perfect and happy to be back side-by-side in California. Jake's been overseas all Summer and Fall filming The Prince of Persia, but it doesn't look like he's done yet considering all that hair he has for the role. Jake may have come a long way since his days training with Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong, but he still showed support for his friend's organization in a LiveStrong shirt. Lately Reese has been the one bouncing back and forth to London to visit Jake, so it's nice to see that he's glad to make the trek to be with his sweetheart too.

Angelina Jolie's Changeling hits theaters today — read Buzz's review here — but she missed last night's LA premiere. Instead, she was on her way home from her first-ever trip to Afghanistan as part of her work with UN Human Rights Campaign. Upon her return, Angelina spoke about the area's needs, triumphs, and difficulties, but mostly about the people. Watch a video of Angelina's visit to Afghanistan below. She said:

"The courage, resilience and quiet dignity of returnee families rebuilding their lives against the kind of adversity few of us can imagine shows the human spirit at its best."

Angelina sounds compassionate and well-spoken as always when it comes talking about her work with the UN. While her personal life still causes controversy, her philanthropy and human rights work is so admirable.

Jessica Biel had her iPod headphones in as she went to a meeting in LA yesterday. According to Jessica, she has been getting more into music lately and is even adding singer to her resume by recording vocals for the soundtrack of her new film, Easy Virtue. Jess apparently has a great voice thanks to voice training and performing in musicals when she was younger. So maybe if her singing career takes off, she and JT can hit the mic together in a whole new way.
