Kate Hudson brought Kurt Russell as well as her brothers Wyatt and hot Oliver to the ballpark in Anaheim last night as they cheered on the NY Yankees in game five of the ALCS. Kate's good luck took a day off and A-Rod's team couldn't gain quite enough momentum to win its ticket to the World Series yet. The Yankees still lead the series 3-2 as the teams pack up and head back to NYC for game six and much chillier temperatures tomorrow.

Charlize Theron looked beautiful on the red carpet last night at ONEXONE's annual fundraiser in San Francisco. The man of the night Matt Damon sadly had to miss it, as he headed back to Boston for a family emergency, but many other stars were happy to lend a hand to the good cause. We chatted with David Arquette about Coco, after he spent the day at the food bank for Feeding America, and Jeremy Piven who had nothing but great things to say about Matt. Inside the event, Charlize even sold a kiss for $140,000! Here's more:

• Charlize Theron on bringing Matt Damon's organization and her charity together for the gala: "We reached out to ONEXONE seeing if they wanted to help us out. We have massive issues with fresh water sources in the area we work with in our schools. The next step for us was to build soccer fields. We have the World Cup next year so it just felt right, but there was something wrong about building soccer fields and knowing that a lot of these kids don't have access to running water. Somebody told me about what Matt does, his work with ONEXONE and I was blown away. So I reached out and he was like we would love to be involved."
• Jeremy Piven on Matt's appearance on Entourage: "It was amazing. Matt really gets it. He made it so funny. He played just this really weird, twisted, evil version of himself. His heart was in the right place, but his methods of going about things were really really wrong. And in that way I think he's a comedic genius."

Anne Hathaway joined NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and actor Alan Cumming last night for the annual dinner thrown by the Empire State Pride Agenda, which works to advance LGBT causes in the region. Anne's enjoying a little break from work after her Summer filming Valentine's Day and doing Shakespeare in the Park, but she'll soon be gearing up to take on another kind of role — she's in talks to star in the animated film Rio along with NPH. Anne looked a little less fancy this morning, when she and boyfriend Adam Shulman headed out to run some errands in the city.

Another day, another Twilight cast member on a magazine cover, but this one is decidedly awesome. Kellan Lutz and his dog Kola posed for Doggie Aficionado, which is just too adorable. In the interview he talked about what adopting his pet has meant to him and what she has taught him over the years. Kellan has come a long way in his career and is looking hotter than ever — check out some highlights:

On adopting Kola: "I have always been a huge advocate for saving animals, so I found it fitting, when I was ready for something new in my life, to look around the local animal shelters. . . . She looked me in the eyes, bowed and slowly and softly licked my open hand. As I pet this beautiful dog I realized how soft her multi-colored coat was, and felt her desperation for a real home. Our connection was so strong that it was like fate bringing us together. I knew she was the one. That was three years ago."

On what he has learned from her: "Kola has taught me to be a man. I hope I have given her some deserved happiness."
