Reese Witherspoon was spotted training yet again in LA yesterday. This time she got a few tips from the UCLA softball team and was all smiles at the end of the workout. She must be an all star by now, but we're still waiting to find out if she's the champion of the Pop 100. Reese and Robert Pattinson went head to head for the crown, and tomorrow morning we'll unveil the winner along with the complete list for 2009. Ben Affleck joined his girls Jennifer, Violet, and Seraphina for a walk in a park near their house in Boston on Sunday. He had a long week of working on The Company Men, and he celebrated his day off by manning Violet's stroller while Jen pushed Seraphina. Jennifer was in charge for a trip to Whole Foods with Violet and an afternoon outside with both their daughters on Saturday. They seem happily settled on the East Coast while Ben films, but soon the tables will turn when Jennifer gets started on her next movie.

Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish were in the stands to see Deacon's Little League game in LA on Saturday afternoon. Usually Reese Witherspoon is the one bringing Deacon to baseball, but Ryan took over while she spent her weekend in NYC with Jake Gyllenhaal. Ava was also rooting for her brother when she wasn't chatting with a friend, while Abbie and Ryan offered a few pointers to Deacon from the sidelines.

Ashlee Simpson helped throw Pete Wentz a lavish birthday party in Vegas on Saturday night after the couple celebrated with her family in LA the night before. Bronx stayed home in California while mom and dad headed to the Bank nightclub at the Bellagio, but he still got to be a part of the sweet celebration in a photo on the 30th birthday cake. The next morning Pete and Ashlee were headed back to LA for the A Time For Heroes celebrity charity carnival, where they brought their little man Bronx along to enjoy the sights.

Oh Snap! Operation Iraqi Stephen This week, The Colbert Report will broadcast straight from Camp Victory in Iraq — a camp whose name sounds like something Stephen came up with himself. At yesterday's taping of "Operation Iraqi Stephen: Going Commando," 300 servicemembers looked on as Stephen got an army haircut from Gen. Ray Odierno.
