Patrick Swayze passed away today at home with his family. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2008 and his condition took a turn for the worse earlier this year. He was 57 years old. Swayze is survived by his wife, Lisa Niemi, who he's been with since he was 18 years old. Patrick has a very special place in our hearts for many of his movies, like Ghost and Point Break to name a couple, but perhaps most of all for Dirty Dancing. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, and he will be missed.
The four fashionable ladies of Sex and the City 2 were up early this morning to film their movie in NYC. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall walked and chatted, meeting up with Kristin Davis and her onscreen daughter for a brunch scene. Cynthia Nixon and the rest of the girls were back in modern-day mode following the sometimes-unfortunate '80s flashback outfits. The women have been staying busy in their free time with SJP, hitting up Fashion's Night Out and Kim visiting TIFF, but now that the work week has started they are reunited with the cameras rolling.

Ryan Gosling performed with Dead Man's Bones at the Bob Barker Marionette Theater in LA on Friday night. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren stopped by to watch Ryan, and Cash twittered his excitement about the show. Ryan's band has its own new Twitter as the guys get pumped up for their October tour and hopefully there will be more celebrity audience members to come — possibly including Miss Kat Dennings.
