It's that time again! Let's play!
As we get older, it gets more and more difficult to get home for the holidays — luckily, being the upbeat and resilient gals that we are, we're able to take a page out of (the always dreamy singer) Ry Cuming's book and make the best of it.
Whether home is a holiday brunch with friends in Brooklyn, a coffee with a new love in a San Francisco Starbucks, or a barbecue with familiar faces on the beach, holiday happiness has less and less to do with physical location and more to do with what's in our hearts.
For Ry, who's always on the move, having played 45 shows in 52 nights, getting back to his native homeland in Australia isn't always possible. Sigh, the life of a rock star. Check out where Ry's heart is for the holidays in the video below, brought to you by Starbucks.
Zac Efron picked up a sandwich and a bag of Cheetos in rainy LA today. He just returned home from Louisiana where he was busy filming his latest project, The Lucky One, and was rumored to be getting cozy with costar Taylor Schilling. Zac's back on the market after his recent split from longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens and while she seems optimistic about her future, he's remained quiet on the subject. Zac's instead been focused on his growing career, adding a new movie and a an amazing set of abs to his list of accomplishments in 2010.
Penelope Cruz was ready for the rain earlier today leaving the Ed Hardy store in LA. The mom-to-be kept warm and dry in black rainboots and a camel trench that barely covered her growing bump. She's been keeping busy since wrapping her role in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides — see the first trailer of Penelope swashbuckling alongside Johnny Depp — and now she's coming into the home stretch of her pregnancy. Her upcoming due date coincides with award season, so we'll have to wait and see if she's up for the task of escorting Javier Bardem to the Palm Spring Film Festival or Golden Globe Awards. His last film, Biutiful, is nominated for Best Foreign Language Picture, however, Buzz feels he was snubbed in the Best Actor category.
Christmas is just a few days away, and celebrities are taking care of all their last-minute shopping. From browsing at Barneys to stocking up in Aspen, these stars are wrapping up their favorite things for the holidays. Courteney Cox and the rest of the Cougar Town cast and crew threw themselves a holiday party on the Sony lot in Culver City yesterday. Ian Gomez and Courteney took turns riding an oversized, inflatable slide, while Dan Byrd chowed down on a burger. Jules and Laurie were among Buzz's best platonic TV duos to round out a banner year for one of our favorite shows. We also loved the Friends reunion with Jennifer Aniston, though the series is on an extended hiatus so their other costar Matthew Perry's new comedy can make its debut. There were also major changes in Cox's personal life and her surprising split from husband David Arquette is one of our biggest headlines of 2010.
