Violet Affleck carried her art projects yesterday as she left an LA crafts store with Jennifer Garner. The mother-daughter duo picked up supplies on another shopping run earlier this week, perhaps getting a head start on homemade Father's Day gifts for Ben Affleck — he's one of many hot celebrity dads to be honored this Sunday. His beloved Celtics didn't win the NBA championship despite his family's enthusiasm for the team, but Ben will still have plenty to celebrate with his girls this weekend.

Peter Facinelli enjoyed his only afternoon in NYC yesterday before he was back on the road traveling to Phoenix. He had time to make a cameo at an event celebrating Father's Day, which is appropriate because Peter's among our favorite hot dads of the year! He's been busy promoting Eclipse in the US, while his costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner take care of things in Europe. Taylor's kept his hot bod under wraps while overseas, but Peter would apparently show off his abs all the time — Peter said, "If I had that six-pack, I would never wear a shirt!" Even fully clothed, Peter still gets lots of love from fans and wound up scoring the 100th spot in the PopSugar 100. He and Jennie Garth are testing the waters to see if they'll also get lucky in the real estate market, as they've just listed their LA home for sale.

David Beckham suited up once again to keep an eye on things as England took on the Algerians today during the World Cup in Cape Town. It was an exciting day in South Africa with the US also playing — the Americans tied Slovenia with a final score of 2-2, though we came close to a win with a third goal that was tossed out! David's team, meanwhile, also ended with a draw of 0-0. Even if you're not into all the sporting action, there are plenty of hotties competing in the matches — play TrèsSugar's new athletes faceoff game and enter to win $500! David's completely focused on soccer at the moment, and his family has yet to visit him during the tournament. Victoria and their three sons have been hanging out in London as she handles business at her management company's headquarters and they catch up with family friends.

John Mayer presented Taylor Swift with an award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony in NYC Thursday.

Jennifer Aniston wore her turquoise earrings yesterday for a visit to a spa in LA. She's home again in California after time in Hawaii, where she shot Just Go With It with costars Adam Sandler, Brooklyn Decker, and Nicole Kidman. We had a chance to chat with Brooklyn yesterday — lots more of her to come on Buzz and Fit! Brooklyn is doing double duty this summer as a spokeswoman for Gillette's Venus razors, but she also spoke about her film work with Jen and Nicole. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover model shared about her fellow actresses' encouraging ways, and even weighed in on their hula scene. Brooklyn said:

PopSugar: Did Jen and Nicole offer encouraging words?
Brooklyn Decker: They were so sweet, just the whole time they were so encouraging — they knew it was my first movie. So they were more than generous with being patient and just pulling me along the whole way.
PS: What was Jen like on set?
BD: She's such a team player, and such a pro — truly professional on set all the time. And there's a reason she's so successful and it's because she's such a pro at what she does.
PS: What did you make of Jen and Nicole's big hula scene?
BD: It was a really amazing scene, it's going to be so hysterical — the two of them together are unbelievable! But I wasn't there to even to get to be a part of the hula scene — I actually saw it on TV like everyone else did.
PS: As a Sports Illustrated model, did you have bikini advice for Jen and Nicole?
BD: From what I saw, the pictures I saw they're doing just fine getting into a bikini!
