The MTV Movie Awards red carpet was sunny and eye-catching and inside the action only got better. Sandra Bullock may have stepped out a day early with her Guys Choice appearance, but she saved the big guns for last night. She brought tears to our eyes and was greeted with a standing ovation as Bradley Cooper, Betty White, and Scarlett Johansson presented her with the Generation Award. Sandra also assured us that she's doing just fine with her famous sense of humor — watch video of her acceptance speech here. She even kissed Scarlett, giving Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart competition for favorite famous lip lock of the evening. New Moon cleaned up during the show, taking home five of the 13 awards — check out the full list of winners. Aziz Ansari skillfully hosted his way through the night, popping up in some funny spoofs that can be added to the pantheon of past skits and of course Tom Cruise played producer of the whole event as Les Grossman. His opening and of course that over-the-top dance with J Lo was amazing.

Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg performed the catchy Summer anthem, "California Gurls" while Christina Aguilera took on a medley from her album Bionic. Amanda Seyfried made cute comments when she got her golden popcorn for Jennifer's Body and Zac Efron cracked a few jokes of his own. He also had a "kiss cam" moment with Vanessa Hudgens, who stepped out on stage with Jessica Alba. Knight and Day costars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz presented the Best Movie to the Twilight crew, and a few of Peter Facinelli's many f-bombs slipped past the censors for the live feed — he later sort of apologized. It was a sunny Sunday in LA for the MTV Movie Awards, which meant lots of short dresses from the women. Some of the big names skipped the red carpet, but there was still ample star power to pose for the cameras. Katy Perry was prepared for her "California Gurls" performance in a bright blue wig while Lindsay Lohan's SCRAM-hiding jumpsuit gave Katy a run for her money in the sparkle department. They were both also right in line with the neon nail trend. Kristen Stewart was one of the last to arrive and hurried into the show, but not before smiling for a few shots. She and Robert spent lots of time on stage together, including the controversial Best Kiss acceptance. Vanessa Hudgens looked adorable in her short white number and had her own lip lock moment with Zac Efron when they were on the "Kiss Cam."

Scarlett Johansson sported green D&G and also shared a special smooch — hers was with Sandra Bullock while accepting the Generation Award. Eva Mendes shimmered during the bright afternoon and Jessica Biel looked super girly in her pink-accented skirt and shirt combo. Anna Kendrick was there to represent both her Twilight crew and Up In The Air roles, the latter of which won her a golden popcorn statue. Britney Spears and almost all her boys enjoyed a casual lunch at Johnny Rockets in LA this weekend. Her sons Sean and Jayden along with her dad Jamie where all there but boyfriend Jason Trawick skipped out on this family outing. He was spotted playing with them last week at the Santa Monica Pier showing he is still very much a part of the picture despite recent breakup rumors. Dad Jamie is still technically in charge of Brit's conservatorship, but word is she is basically running her own show these days, and everyone couldn't be happier.

This is definitely one of the moments from the MTV Movie Awards that everyone will be talking about tomorrow. Accepting her Generation Award, Sandra Bullock brought the entire audience to their feet, taking the opportunity to touch on her recent scandal, the paparazzi, and their incredibly unflattering camera lenses — all with a dash of Sandra's signature humor, of course. She even took a time out to let Scarlett Johansson get a taste of the lips that Ryan Reynolds kissed in The Proposal! Sandra later said, "Ryan is right — Scarlett is a great kisser!" It was a speech that felt honest and to the point and made me love the actress even more. Watch it again:

What can I say? The man loves Ludacris! Yes, we've seen Tom Cruise as Les Grossman shake his tail feather about a bajillion times, but we've never seen him get down quite like this before. In an amazing match up, Cruise took the stage in character — with a trampoline?! — to booty slap to his favorite rapper. But then, out of nowhere, Jennifer Lopez appeared in a big reveal to give him a run for his money. The result is nothing short of epic. Take a look!

During the MTV Movie Awards telecast, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner took the stage to introduce the audience — and the world — to a never-before-seen clip from the upcoming Eclipse. In the footage, Edward and Jacob get heated over Bella's protection while she looks on, once again torn between the two boys she loves. Guess who she rides away with at the end? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cleaned up at the MTV Movie Awards tonight! The two have you divided on their Best Kiss smooch, but whether or not the lip lock was planned, they stepped up their game from last year's win. Later in the show, Rob thanked both his parents for conceiving him and Kristen while accepting for Global Superstar and Best Male Performance. Meanwhile, she was her typically slightly nervous-seeming self when she won Best Female Performance. Taylor Lautner joined them to present the brand new clip from Eclipse, and the rest of the cast got to come on stage too for New Moon's best picture moment with a profanity-laced speech thanks to Peter Facinelli.
