Exclusive: Twilight Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg Shares Her Vision For Breaking Dawn and Just How Gory It Will Be!
Melissa will be speaking in LA at the Writer's Guild Foundation on Tuesday evening — tune into a livestream here. In the meantime, check out our all-new exclusive interview with her here now.
PopSugar: How did you feel about the decision to split Breaking Dawn into two movies?
Melissa Rosenberg: Relief, actually, because it was going to be quite a challenge to condense such a large book into one movie. That's always the challenge with all of these and, more so, Breaking Dawn. Having a little more room to breathe is nice . . . on the other hand, there's also the challenge of making sure there's enough to fill two movies.
PS: We've heard there are some scenes you want to avoid showing on screen in Breaking Dawn. For example, Bella giving birth. Can you tell us why?
MR: That was a misquote. The childbirth — all the scenes, I feel — should be on screen. I think perhaps what I was referring to was, would we actually see Edward's teeth through the placenta? I don't think so. I don't think we need to see that, and if someone needs to see that, I think they should take a look at that. [Laughs.] I believe it will be implied, but I don't think we'll see teeth in the placenta.

Alexander Skarsgard carried his plane reading as he arrived at LAX on Saturday and met up with Kate Bosworth for a trip to Bristol Farms on Sunday. His choice of books, Thomas Friedman's Hot, Flat, and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution — and How It Can Renew America, shows this handsome actor is more than just a pretty face. He's currently focusing on his film work and hanging out with Kate after wrapping up the most recent season of True Blood. Buzz was bummed when Alexander and his castmates didn't get Emmy nominations for acting, though True Blood is up for best dramatic series, which hopefully means he'll attend the big show. Last night's episode left Eric in a tricky situation, and it seems like you're all rooting for him since he's far and away your favorite character.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen made Benjamin's doctor's appointment a family affair in Santa Monica today. They're taking advantage of Tom's time left in LA before he has to head to Boston for football season, and he's been amping up his workouts on the West Coast. Gisele's similarly committed to fitness — though she's facing some tougher competition up against Marisa Miller in round two of our bikini bracket — amid all her time with Tom and Ben. The couple celebrated Ben's christening last month and also started furniture shopping for their LA home that's currently under construction.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Marion Cotillard were together in Paris on Saturday night for the French premiere of Inception. Their costars Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt also attended and made sure to sign autographs and pose with fans. The last few weeks have been busy ones for Leo, with a stop in South Africa for the World Cup and some sightseeing. He also spent time in London for a UK screening and photo call. The Christopher Nolan film is the latest blockbuster in Leo's long career — make sure to check out Buzz's retrospective of his work. Leo and his fellow actors are currently heading back to LA for their next red carpet event, so make sure to follow us on Twitter for photos and news live from the scene.
