January Jones carried her son, Xander, out of an office building in LA this afternoon. She showed off her 1-month-old baby boy after keeping him covered up in a carrier for his first outing as a newborn late last month. January just returned to the set of Mad Men yesterday for the first time since welcoming Xander in September and she brought him along to work and introduced him to her costars. The drama won its fourth consecutive Best Drama Emmy just a few days after January gave birth, and while she wasn't there to celebrate, her costar John Slattery did relay the news that she and Xander were rooting for them from home.
Javier Bardem will be the bad guy in the next James Bond movie. The actor confirmed to ABC's Nightline that he is taking on the villainous role, but kept quiet about other unknown details about the film. Hear who else is rumored to be taking on an iconic part in the latest installment of the franchise in today's PopSugar Rush!
Blake Lively was back to straight hair yesterday on the NYC set of Gossip Girl after rocking a wilder, curly 'do last week. Blake bundled up in Uggs and a sweater coat between scenes this morning. Last night's episode of the CW series hinted at lots of drama to come for Serena and the rest of her social circle, but in real life Blake is newly single after her split from Leonardo DiCaprio a few weeks ago. Blake was briefly linked to her Green Lantern costar Ryan Reynolds earlier this month, when rumors spread that they spent a romantic weekend together in Boston. Meanwhile, Leonardo is reportedly dating two different Australian models while he shoots The Great Gatsby Down Under. Blake is focusing on work and fun in the wake of their breakup, stopping to shop and have her tarot cards read at a Halloween party last week while she settles back into her Gossip Girl routine in the Big Apple.
Angelina Jolie continued her recent philanthropic duties with a trip to Libya today. She met with representatives from the UNHCR and other aid groups as well as local children and hospital patients during the two-day visit, which came after her appearance in Switzerland last week. Angelina was honored by the UNHCR during an event in Geneva and also announced that she'd be taking on a new responsibility with the organization. Her charity work didn't end there since she and Brad Pitt also recently donated $340,000 to Somali famine relief. The couple did take a break from their good deeds, though, to let loose when they went paintballing with their son Maddox in England.
Gwyneth Paltrow hopped on a bike to film Thanks For Sharing in NYC this afternoon. She changed into a black Stand Up 2 Cancer shirt for another scene with costar Mark Ruffalo after the duo started working together on set this week. Gwyneth made the trip to the East Coast from the UK on Sunday, and she was spotted at the airport with pal Cameron Diaz. The stylish girlfriends partied at The Arts Club and celebrated pal Stella McCartney's birthday during their time in London. Gwyneth may be back to work, but it looks like she's having a great time on set since she tweeted "Shooting in sunny central park. Reminds me of my youth." and was also spotted sharing a laugh with Mark. He's a little more serious in the new trailer for The Avengers, which gives fans a quick glimpse of him in character as The Hulk.
Jennifer Garner cozied up in a plaid scarf today as she left one of her favorite restaurants, Tavern in Brentwood, with a doggy bag and a hot drink to go. The expectant actress flashed a smile and donned some oversized sunglasses as she headed back to her car. Jennifer was without Seraphina and Violet for the lunch stop, but the girls were all together earlier this week when they picked out pumpkins and took a trip to the Getty. With Halloween approaching, there have been lots of celebrity families at the pumpkin patch, and the Garner-Affleck girls have proven to be big fans of the holiday in the past. A few years ago, Jennifer even got in on the costume fun, wearing matching puppy outfits with Violet!
Ryan Gosling kept his hat low while filming The Gangster Squad in LA this afternoon. He's been on set for the last few weeks sporting retro looks, though it's another of his recent costumes, his character from Drive, that's expected to be a popular Halloween costume this year. Ryan was back on set following an exciting opening weekend for another film, The Ides of March. The movie took the second spot at the box office behind Hugh Jackman's Real Steel, after plenty of press efforts from Ryan and his costar George Clooney. George premiered The Ides of March in NYC last week, and the duo stepped out to support the project on the West Coast in September. Now that the promotional push is over, George is taking some time off and vacationing in Mexico with girlfriend Stacy Keibler, while Ryan has been hard at work on his latest role.
The full-length trailer for The Avengers is out, and it is jam-packed with superheroes. Up until today, we've only seen a small amount of video and a few photos of Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and their costars all suited up for the film, so anticipation has been building for a while. Did the new footage live up to the hype? Hear what our editors have to say in today's PopSugar Rush!
