Prince William was behind the wheel yesterday when he and his wife, Kate Middleton, visited Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace. The Queen hosts a preholiday lunch for her relatives every year, and this year, William and Kate were joined by Prince Harry, Prince Charles, and others. Later in the day, William, Kate, and Harry reunited for the Sun Military Awards. David Beckham also turned out for the event, which honors the good work of British servicemen and women. Kate wowed on the red carpet in her black velvet Alexander McQueen gown. She accentuated the strapless design with a stunning diamond and ruby necklace, bracelet, and earring set that she apparently received as a gift at her April royal wedding.

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman stuck together on their way out of Greenblatt's Deli in Beverly Hills last night. The couple grabbed a bite to eat after recently arriving in LA from the East Coast. They attended Meryl Streep's Iron Lady premiere in the Big Apple, and also stepped out for the Kennedy Center Honors in DC. Anne and Adam's red carpet activities were just the latest public outings for the couple, who announced that they were engaged last month. Anne's diamond ring has been on display ever since, though she's without the sparkly accessory in the new trailer for The Dark Night Rises. Anne's in character as Catwoman alongside leading man Christian Bale in the dramatic teaser, which is the first before the film's release next Summer.
