Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy took advantage of the sunny skies in Aspen today and hit the slopes with Ryder Robinson. The foursome are spending the holidays in Colorado with Kate's family in addition to celebrating baby Bing's first Christmas. Bing was one of the many adorable celebrity babies born this year, and Kate was quick to get back into shape following his Summer birth. Kate's postbaby-body bikini moment was one of the most exciting photos of 2011, joining photos of the royal wedding, Jennifer Aniston's handprint ceremony, and Jessica Simpson's baby bump, just to name a few. Meanwhile, Matthew seems to be enjoying his break from recording new music with Muse, and hopefully 2012 will bring a new album from the popular rock group.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson strolled hand in hand for a Starbucks run in Malibu on Sunday. The two split the holidays with family this year, spending Thanksgiving in Boston with the Johnsons and Christmas at home in LA with the Simpson crew. Jessica took care of the Christmas dinner shopping and was also all smiles as she stepped out for some last-minute errands with Bronx on Friday. 2012 is going to be exciting for Jessica and Eric as they both become first-time parents. Jessica's first red carpet showing off her pregnancy made our best celebrity pictures of 2011 slideshow, and we can already predict their little one will be one of the most exciting new arrivals of next year.

Mischa Barton showed off her hot bikini body in a skimpy black two-piece lounging on the beach in Miami on Tuesday. The actress looked to be in good spirits as she chatted with a friend and worked on her tan. Mischa is currently focusing on her fashion career more so than acting, but whatever she's doing looks to be agreeing with her. She does have a couple movie projects in the works as well, so perhaps we'll be seeing more of Mischa in the coming year. For now though, joining the throngs of celebrities in bikinis, from Sofia Vergara to Katy Perry, seems like a great way to close out 2011.

Elle Macpherson surveyed the scene on the beach in Australia on Christmas day. The supermodel, who will be turning 48 in March, looked stunning in her sexy white bikini and accessorized with a boho bag and cowboy hat. It's Summer Down Under, where Aussie native Elle joined her family for the holiday. Elle spends most of her time home in the UK with her two boys running her ever-expanding Elle Macpherson intimates line.

Elle was not nearly the only star who enjoyed a bikini-filled Christmas — Stephanie Seymour hit St. Barts, Zoe Kravitz lounged with boyfriend Penn Badgley in Miami, and Katy Perry wore a tiny two-piece in Hawaii.

Zach Braff and his girlfriend, Taylor Bagley, joined Donald Faison and fiancée CaCee Cobb for a walk on the beach in Hawaii on Sunday. The Scrubs costars remain close friends and brought their lovely ladies along for the tropical holiday double date. Before heading to the island, Donald and Zach recorded a hilarious version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" set on a gorgeous sunny LA day, which CaCee shared on Twitter on Christmas day. It was a romance-filled 2011 for longtime loves CaCee and Donald — the two announced their engagement in August and are capping off the year with this sweet getaway alongside some of their closest companions.

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt strolled through LAX with their good friend Jimmy Kimmel and his girlfriend Molly McNearney on Tuesday. The foursome all stopped to get cash out before their trip, perhaps off to spend New Year's Eve together somewhere. John and Emily spend some holidays back East with his family in Boston, though this Christmas may have been celebrated at home in LA. Jimmy had his own festive fun this year at the expense of some unwitting kids. On Jimmy Kimmel Live the late night host asked parents to give their children a bad present and tape their reactions. The resulting video, I Gave My Kids a Terrible Present quickly went viral on YouTube.

With January around the corner, John and Emily may have a quieter award season this year, but they'll both bundle up to head to the Sundance Film Festival. John's movie Nobody Walks is in competition, while Emily's Your Sister's Sister is part of the "cinema we love" spotlight series.
