Kristen Bell soaked in the sun aboard a cruise ship off the coast of Miami on Friday. She's attending Summit at Sea, the elite invite-only conference attended by the likes of Russell Simmons and Richard Branson. Kristen enjoyed her bikini time by the water and joked on Twitter with her friend Jedidiah, who works for the Invisible Children organization which the actress is also involved in. Kristen's fiancé Dax Shepard was not by her side, but he kept himself busy by expressing his shock and sadness about Pia Toscano's American Idol elimination. Kristen's boat adventure may keep her from tomorrow's big red-carpet premiere of Scream 4 in LA, though most of you think that her character will meet her demise at the hand of Ghostface.
Jennifer Aniston opened up about everything from friends to dating in the May issue of UK magazine Red. The actress was promoting her fragrance, but talk turned to how hard it is to date in Hollywood, saying, "You have to normalise it! You would die otherwise. But no, I’m not a big fan of dating. I have dinner with male friends and it’s instantly, 'that’s the new man.' The phone is ringing off the hook from your publicist saying, 'Did you have dinner with so and so?' and it’s 'yes, I did and no, I’m not.' So you sort of just meet people." Jennifer also joked about the pressure to have kids, and the interviewer suggested that she run off with the only man who is under the same scrutiny to settle down, George Clooney. Jennifer and George have known each other for years and he is good friends with her ex husband Brad Pitt. Still, she played along, playfully responding, "That would definitely shut up the world! I could call up George, say, 'Hon, let’s just get hitched and have kids...' I should take George to lunch and we can figure out how to put an end to all this... Ha! Well... No." It's a cute quote, but with their history and the fact that he's in a serious relationship perhaps an uncomfortable topic. So what do you think about Jennifer's statements on dating and Clooney — awesome or awkward?
Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet Affleck ran all sorts of errands together in LA on Saturday. Violet was decked out in a pink track suit and peace sign boots while Jennifer toted a classic Chanel. Jennifer's new release Arthur came in second at the box office this week as Russell Brand's other film, Hop once again scored the top spot. Jennifer had both Violet and Seraphina along to spend the afternoon with good friend Victor Garber on Friday and Ben Affleck missed out on that as well since he's currently scouting movie locations in Turkey. Ben is also reportedly close to signing on for a role in the upcoming Great Gatsby remake alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan, though the directorial effort he's working in in Istanbul may get in the way.
Mark Wahlberg was joined by his wife Rhea Durham and two of their children, Ella and Michael, at the movies in LA Thursday afternoon. Michael and Mark recently cheered for the Lakers alongside Zac Efron and David Beckham, but this time they were joined by the girls for a family outing. Mark's HBO series Entourage returns July 24 for season eight and Boardwalk Empire will have its second later this year. The multi-talented Mark is also making a move back to comedy with his upcoming project Bait and Switch, which he will produce and possibly star in as well.
