Rachel Bilson tried to tame an extra large pup at a coffee shop in LA Friday. She and a friend walked the fluffy canine to their lunch date, though Rachel Bilson's own dog Thurman Murman didn't join them for the outing. Rachel has been staying stylish around town since returning home to LA earlier this month, but she'll soon take head off to NYC. Rachel's Karl Lagerfeld-directed Magnum ice cream ad will make its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival, which kicks off next week.

The Coachella Music Festival got started in Indio, CA yesterday. The three-day event kicked off with a star-studded audience that included Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard, who made the desert trip for the second year in a row, along with Katy Perry. Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson spent time together in the shade, while Ashley Greene went straight from the set of Breaking Dawn to the sunny outdoor celebration. Gwen Stefani headed to a park with Kingston and Zuma in LA yesterday. Kingston and Zuma seemed to be enjoying the afternoon sunshine since they took their shirts off for the outing, and Gwen also made sure her oldest had plenty of sunscreen on his face. Gwen and her husband, Gavin Rossdale, had an adults only night out on Thursday when they checked out the opening of Art in the Streets at MOCA. A redheaded Drew Barrymore was also on hand for the event, which happened just ahead of the release of Scream 4. Drew Barrymore was featured in the first Scream movie trailer, but her character didn't last long enough to make it into the sequel.

Shakira and her boyfriend Gerard Piqué were spotted making out and enjoying a late lunch in Barcelona yesterday. The singer and Spanish soccer star met last Summer shooting her music video for "Waka Waka." Shortly after, she split from her long-term boyfriend Antonio de la Rúa and later went public with her hot new romance despite earlier denials of their chemistry. The pair headed off for a stroll holding hands, but first stopped to say hi to their admirers —  and Gerard's undoubtedly a big fan of his lady's music and Shakira's sexy abs!
