Nikki Reed smoothed back her locks and picked a sophisticated cream and white polka-dot dress for a luncheon today held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in LA. Twilight's director Catherine Hardwicke and Nikki were there to celebrate the Step Up Women's Network 8th annual Inspiration Awards. Nikki was without the company of her fiancé, Paul McDonald, but she was sure to show off her sparkly new engagement ring. Nikki and Paul announced their engagement at the MTV Movie Awards last weekend, and she joined the cast of Breaking Dawn during the show to premiere the film's first full-length trailer. She and Paul seem to be already settling into their life together with regular trips to the gym, casual strolls with her dog, and Nikki's already looking for a bigger home for them to share. Paul's also been busy prepping to hit the road with America Idol's top contestants when their concert series kicks off July 6 from Utah.

Gisele Bundchen wore Oscar de la Renta on the red carpet at the AFI Life Achievement Award honoring Morgan Freeman held last night at LA's Sony Pictures Studios. The supermodel said hello to the man himself, hugging Morgan and the Brazilian TV presenter Hebe Camargo. Gisele also caught up with Morgan's daughter Alexia before moving inside to mingle with other celeb guests like Clint Eastwood, Matthew Broderick, Matthew McConaughey, Casey Affleck, Betty White, and Helen Mirren. Morgan's Amistad costar Matthew McConaughey rocked a new look with his handlebar mustache, though his girlfriend, Camila Alves, didn't seem to mind the new facial fuzz. Morgan said a few words about his career and humbly acknowledged one special role in Bruce Almighty. Morgan Freeman said of his AFI honor, "I should be ashamed to say that sooner or later, I knew that someone was going to call on me to play God. I just had to be sure that when I said OK, that it was a comedy."

Ryan Reynolds looked dapper this morning as he exited BBC Radio One in London. The actor is abroad doing press for Green Lantern following a few days in LA, where he hit up the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday and teamed up with costar Blake Lively for the press junket. Blake revealed that she used cupcakes to fatten up Ryan during one of their interviews, though he looked like his usual svelte self while out today after a chat with BBC host Sara Cox. Ryan joked about Green Lantern, being Canadian, and whether he prefers starlets like Blake or grown women like Sandra Bullock, who's in England as well to shoot Gravity. He said, "You can't compare those two. They're vastly different people. But Sandy's been a friend of mine for over 10 years now."

The whole Smith family stepped out in LA yesterday to watch as Will's oldest son, Trey, graduated from high school! Will flew West during a break in shooting Men in Black III in NYC to join his wife, Jada, and younger children Willow and Jaden at the event. Trey had both his stepmom, Jada, and mom, Sheree Zampino, on hand. Easygoing Will was even spotted mingling with the other proud parents and introducing himself to some of Trey's classmates, though four bodyguards were apparently on hand in case a situation arose. Will was a frequent face around the school and was often in the stands cheering on Trey as he played football. Jada is presently gearing up for the return of her TV series Hawthorne and, in an interview with Uptown magazine, discussed how she and Will have allowed Jaden and Willow to be child stars. She said, "Believe it or not, they're both like me and Will . . . Willow's a lot like me — just in the chances she'll take. And then, Jaden has the drive of his father. Jaden and I are what I call introverted extroverts. Willow and Will are more pow! Jaden and I, well, we don't give that to just anybody . . . There are so many other kids you can worry about. My kids? They're going to be all right. I get why people would criticize. But people need to know that Will and I would never put our children in a situation that would bring them detriment."

Patrick Dempsey got behind the wheel of Mazda's Formula 1 car yesterday for a race at Le Mans. It's been a busy week for Patrick, who helped present his pal and Sweet Home Alabama costar Reese Witherspoon with the MTV Movie Awards' generation award on Sunday. While Patrick is abroad, there are rumors back home that he won't return to Grey's Anatomy next season. Patrick's rep cleared up the confusion, which resulted from a quote he gave to Vogue Italia, by saying "[Patrick] was referring to the fact that his contract is up at the end of next season, and we have no idea what the future holds." His small-screen career may be in limbo, but soon enough we'll see more of Patrick in Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon when it opens on June 29.

Lily Allen rocked a pair of Prada platforms today as she arrived at the St. James the Great church in Cranham, England, for a wedding rehearsal. She's tying the knot with boyfriend of two years, Sam Cooper, tomorrow and is more than excited! She wrote on Twitter that, despite anxiety over having a zit, "I'm great, I'm getting married — eek!" Lily's dad, the actor Keith Allen, was on hand to take part in this afternoon's rehearsal, as was her brother and usher-to-be Alfie. She and Sam have apparently invited 300 people to the service and party, which will be held at Lily's country home not far from the chapel. Lily will wear Chanel for the ceremony, a fitting choice considering that she was a model for the brand back in 2009. Lily and Sam are looking forward to the vow exchange after what's been a rough year with the miscarriage of their child last November. She picked herself up after the devastating event and has lately been busy launching her Lucy In Disguise label. Lily wore one of her own dresses with family and friends today, though tomorrow she'll be in the competent hands of Karl Lagerfeld.
